When i first watch/listen, i feel very dissapointed at YG, why they didnt make good song for the girl, cause i love the girls so much, i follow their journey since February last year(introduce videos). Amazingly i love the song so much when i heard it second time.

Literally same. I always love EVERY single kpop song on the first listen... except for "Forever" 😭 I fell in love with the chorus but the verses and bridge sounded so weird and unconnected to each other. After a few listens I can say that it's my favorite BABYMONSTER song since their debut 👏🏻💛

I think the release of this song is to attract more fan and more attention to them cuz i believed this song is more easy listening to attract the public. They will.go back.to.their root on next comeback for full album. I think YG will do every concept in the world for BM 😂 because of their unlimited potential. It was all a dream, and then Pharita wakes up and it starts again, forever and ever. This is a hit for sure, video is so good. These girls can dominate any concept. They all look gorgeous as usual. They have so many catchy parts in this song. They sing awesome and the raps are their best yet IMO. All 7 killed it.

Most YG songs have always been like that though, since Bigbang, they feel like 3-4 different songs combined into one but that's what makes them fun and interesting and makes you want to listen more after your first one. They're proven to be effective :)

Love the honesty because I felt the same! Loved the slower parts and the rap 🔥 Interestingly, we're the opposite where it's the forever part that I'm not the biggest fan of. I like what they did with it at the end though. I'm sure that part would be fun to see in concert.

I think it all flows better when you listen to the song all the way through without pausing at each section, a second listen might help, but I can see how not everyone would be as in to this song. I think it's a bop though!

True. First listen, I didn't appreciate as much too. Esp the last part confused me too much thinking why put that again when it was somehow unnecessary and unrelated to the whole concept of the song. 1st verse was different as well with the chorus which added extra confusion. But after listening to it again and again, it did somehow make sense and it's good now.

YG's issue is they can't not have rap parts. This should have been a pop song with at most a small rap, but YG will sink or swim with their style. YG is very hit or miss these days, which is depressing as a YGA stan. I am very happy with Rami and Ahyeon's parts. As always, they sound amazing.

I think it's cool and I hope.ppl don't come for u due to Ur reaction. But the main thing I like the most about kpop is the unpredictability and the mashups of sounds that is different from the western linear style of songs. Which is why altho like that is a bop it's just pop and not really kpop for me. Forever sounds like a perfect summer song to me

I love how seb is so honest with it. My opinion is that, the song was over decorated I think. The rap parts seems to not go well with the bridge and chorus. But it didn't mean they did not do great, they delivered it so well, the parts just don't go well with every sections of the music. Still, I would listen to this nonstop while doing house chores like Imma live fooooor eee ee ever

I don't know I guess I'm used to kpop songs having a lot of change ups like this, even back to Bigbang, and most iconically Got a Boy by Girls Generation. (Which you should watch if you've never seen it!) But I also have experienced plenty of kpop songs that grow on me after a second or third listen and that might be the case for you with this. Sometimes they sneak up on you.

This disconnected feeling is part of the yg style lol. It's similar to "Comeback home" by 2ne1. It feels like it's two different song but it works and still sounds good!
