There’s a real feeling if there might be something there between the two of them, but it’s mostly one sided. Like, Caleb is pining in his self loathing and will never make a move and Jester will never fucking know. Which is a big sad mood and I love it.

Me too though. I am really invested in slow burn Beauyasha but I'm interested to see whatever happens. I just hope whatever it is is as satisfying as Beauyasha would be. :)

Additionally: This definitely isn't purely a "used to" thing. Veth/Nott reacted quite strongly when she thought Beau had a crush on Caleb, even seeming a bit... Aggressive? But she immediately calmed down when she realized that wasn't the case. And with her reluctance to go back to her old life and certainly not wanting things to be exactly the way they were before, combined with her devotion to her husband and son... I have no idea how things will play out there. I do feel like she will prioritize the happiness of Caleb, Yeza and Luc(Luke?) over her own crush, so given that Caleb def doesn't seem interested and she is married with a child... It seems more likely from that standpoint that she will not, say, leave Yeza for Caleb. However that crush probably has and will make her rethink a lot of things. Not to mention that Sam is an agent of chaos.

But, then again, she does have some strong maternal feelings towards him, and that must make her incredibly conflicted and confused. She definitely, especially towards the beginning, really leaned into that maternal role. But things have slightly changed over the campaign, though her devotion to Caleb hasn't. She could continue to focus on "parenting" Caleb, or reevaluate their relationship. I don't know. I have no idea where this is going to go. I do think that, especially now the crush is out, she will be forced to rethink her relationship with Caleb.

Sam confirmed in Talks Machina that Nott has had feelings for Caleb for a while and that he is physically attractive to her.

I noticed hints from the beginning tbh. It doesn't help that Liam and Sam have hella good "stage chemistry" for lack of a better word. You could also argue that Caleb is just better at hiding it than Nott, because no one has gotten him drunk enough to say something like that. As evidenced here when Beau and Nott were drunk themselves

RandomAlpaca yeah, jester still is an adult she’s estimated to be around early 20’s, 23 or 22 maybe. and caleb and fjord are early 30’s, it’s completely normal i know several friends who’s parents have an age gap of 9 years or so. plus people were shipping caleb and molly which by standard, molly is literally fucking 2 years old so-
