As requested!! Today I took a trip to the amazing Notting Hill London. Here I give a walking tour of the most instagrammable and beautiful locations near to Portobello Road. From the best mew houses in the area, cobbled streets and the famous Portobello Road Market. On the way I show you some of the famous filming locations for Love Actually and the amazing Notting Hill movie.

I say please don't change anything, really! I so enjoy your vlogs and your various walking tours of London. I wish so much that I had made it to London for a visit but alas it was not to be. Watching you makes me feel in a small part that I have. I live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and I just want to say thank you for making me feel much less isolated!!

Hi Hannah, This was a very enjoyable little jaunt around Notting Hill. What I like most is when you are able to relate to the various places, I went for a meal there, or had my hair cut here, that makes it more personal, brings the places to life. I am amazed that people seemingly eat so many cakes!

Hannah Ricketts I always get Paterson's shortbread fingers from Tesco each week and have one with each cup of tea! Try them see what you think. A walk around Hampstead and Wimbledon villages adopting the same style would be good.

Love your walk Hanner. It brings back memories, when I was very young. Portobello Road has expanded so much with food shops, restaurants, bars. There used to be some book shops which are no longer here. My street was Sutherland Place which is about 10 to 15 minutes walk away.

Love that you took us to Notting Hill. That meat and fish shop was bizarre - ‘designer meat’! I’d quite like to have a closer look at Sally Clarke London - looked really good. And I love the Mews streets. Thank you for taking us along on your daily walks - I’ve not been to the UK and I’m loving this content. Hi, Another Great video. You beat me to it, Mews in the olden days, they were stables. when I came to UK in 1969. I think I saw one or two mews with horses. The horses got thrown out and now humans live in these posh mews. I hate to think the current selling price of these mews.

@@HannahRicketts We come to London ( or should I say we did! 3 x a year for last 15 years) - cancelled our June and Dec 2020 trips ...stay in Mayfair - many friends - really enjoy your channel - glad we discovered it. Plan to be back for Chelsea Flower timeframe late May - we hope!! Cheers!

I was incredibly fortunate enough to live in London last year and took a stroll through Notting Hill in June. ACK! I can't believe I was that close to one of Love Actually's filming locations! And my favourite scene, too! Well, I'll just have to put it on my list. Denbigh Terrace is one of my faves in the area.

Love the colorful houses on Portobello Road! They have the same cheery vibe, especially during overcast days, as the houses in the Haight Ashbury district in SF, CA.

The meat shop is something I saw in Australia. You buy the leg, side or full cow etc and they keep it for you and when you want some you can pop in and pick it up.

Thank you Hannah, another really interesting blog. I want to spend a month in Notting Hill sketching the shops and pretty painted houses. I almost prefer seeing it without the market as you appreciated the beautiful shop fronts. I would not be able to resist some of those cakes though!

Loved this stroll around Notting Hill, Hannah, thank you!! Yes, I was in that Travel Book Store. My sister and I stayed at the Abbey Court Hotel a few times.....the tube is right down the street and we shopped and bought flowers from Tesco for our room. Portobello Market was so much fun....so much to see!! Ahh, the Highland Shop!! Was just wearing the scarf I bought there!
