The Mickey theme is one of the saddest piano themes I know. That is also a reason why I used this cue in the top 10 saddest movie deaths.
This is such a sad scene during Rocky 3 as most people probably agree who has watched the movie. I hope you like my take on this piano cover of Mickey.

Every time I hear the beginning, I always hear Rocky saying “Mick.” In his sad voice and then later starts crying. Mickey’s death made me cry like a baby, love Rocky III to death

This is probably one of the most important peices of music to me, I've had the pleasure of hearing this live at a Sylvester Stallone event, where I even got to meet sly himself. My dad was my biggest inspiration and reason I loved rocky so much because he reminded me of rocky everything about him, his strength, his humbleness, his work ethic literally everything. Over the past 2 years during the pandemic my father lost his legs because of diabetes. Along with a list of other complaints including heart failure...he fought it all but he finally lost his fight and went into cardiac arrest at home around his family two months ago. I had to do CPR which was devastating. It's only now 2 months on I've had the courage to listen to this piece. My dad was my rocky and my Micky rolled into one. I love you dad "you was the angel"

This was the medley of a father figure Rocky lost, but never forgotten as he went on to fight his toughest opponents. Mickey had been there with him through it all, gave him the best advice and cared for him more than a trainer. Rocky had felt he had lost a part of him the day he had died. I was sobbing the entire film.

Amazing piece, I thought I could go 'the distance' without crying but 2.20 secs ... it got me. Its a way to travel back in time ... through music, experience what you felt many years ago. Thanks Bill and Noud for creating a space to feel the emotion of the films and life. This and 'Departure' by EWF ... pull both you and the soul of the universe together.

To me, this masterpiece reminds me my crush for now. I'm 17 years old young boy and thank god I have no problem or sickness in my family.I watched all Rocky movies last year and I realized this last week. For now, I'm praying for healthy life and being with her. God help us. Thank you for this great video.
