But nowhere it is clearly/specifically mentioned that God is talking about Jesus as his son. God has sons by the tons in the Bible: "....Adam, which was the SON OF GOD." Luke 3:38 "That the SONS OF GOD saw the daughters of men that they were fair..." "And when the SONS OF GOD came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them...." Genesis 6:2&4 "...Israel is MY SON, even my firstborn:" Exodus 4:22 "...for I (God) and a FATHER to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn." Jeremiah 31:9 "...the Lord hath said unto me, (David) Thou art MY SON: this day have I BEGOTTEN thee." Psalms 2:7 "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the SONS OF GOD." Romans 8:14 2) Moreover it says, "God spoke through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son" The questions is "Why God spoke through prophets to millions & billions of people before Jesus, why didn't he send his son right from the beginning ??? which is unfair to the previous generations. (They were guided by prophets whereas, for other people they had Jesus as son which is totally illogical and a confused philosophy) Correct answer is in the Quran, which says Jesus was a prophet of God as like Adam, Abraham, Noah, Moses ...... ***** i think the oldest quran we have is the Topkapi Manuscript in Istanbul, which has been carbon-dated by real scientists, and has been proven to be from the 7th century.

I suggest reading Dr yasir Qadhi's "Introduction to the Sciences of the Quran" for information about the compilation of the Quran. there is a pdf available on kalamullah website. Also islamicawareness has articles about the carbon dating of Quranic manuscripts.

I am raised in muslim family..it is just that my family never explains why islam is the right religion probably because we are not that religious..but as a young adult, I start to have this questions..and I am glad that I have these questions as I am starting to learn more about Islam..

sarah haq It looks like someone took what he said out of context. I've heard him explain the word kafir and the context it was used, in a lecture called tafseer surah al kafirun. If I remember it correctly, he said kafir is a person who rejects Islam after hearing and understanding the message. But there was more to it than that simple explanation. He explained it in more depth in the lecture. I hope that helped.

U misunderstood the point he was making bro. If u truly learn the deen fully & practice 💯 as it is, then by default you’re doing the dawah automatically wherever you are on your daily basis. And that’s how the sahaba was wherever they are, they commit 💯 to the deen of Allah following the example of the prophet Muhammad (PPUH).
