From my experience in doing my ZF6 transmission fluid, the car must be running (in the air), then top off the fluid after PRNDS until fluid starts to leak from the fill hole. Nonetheless, i may do the diverter valve upgrade on mine next. 👌👌

Im pretty sure the transmission fluid has to be up to temperature and the car has to be running in order for you to check the level .. but not 100% on that . Thats how it has to be done on the 335i any way .

The OEM diverter is plumbed back into the system. The Turbosmart is dual port, did you plumb it back or is it dumping atmospherically back in engine bay? I tried atmospheric and I am having issues with car running too rich.

Hey bro on the previus episode you didnt do fill up procedure right. When you put the fluid and start dripping, you have to start the car run true some gears and top of on the RUNNING ENGINE. You are low on fluid now, you will damage your tansmission.

Pays like 3.5 in all data I looked at it awhile ago for my brother and his f30. Might have been better off taking the fan shroud and intercooler gives you a lot more space to work. Should have done mine on my e90 335 when I did my water pump 😬

you should figure out why there was so much oil on the diverter valve cable.... you might have an oil leak somewhere..... you should get that oil leak sorted asap if you are going to tune the car..... also i think it would have been a lot easier to get that top bolt if you took off the inlet pipe...

You need to start off as u do but instead of releasing the pedal let it change to atleast 3rd once the pressure is built and then let go. That would sound good. But also do more of them on video

Brotherrr hopefully I can get a response I’m in a pickle 😂😂 I have a 435i and I recently installed a CAI and it gives me that nice induction sound and I wasn’t aware it also creates a blow off sound even though it still has stock diverter… I already ordered the turbo smart bov and was wondering should I just not install it or is the sound hugely difference with the turbosmart bov… I already love the noise it makes… but wondering if it’s worth installing too.

it depends on whether the BOV is either on-off or if it actuates dynamically/gradually(I know the GFB one does i'm not 100% sure about this one but I suspect its also dynamic) - you hear it a lot when you let off the pedal cause it goes full open to release all pressure but when gear shifting it only opens very partially so less air is escaping and the sound is a lot less quieter, probably not likely to hear it if you have an aftermarket exhaust

They replace eachother, the BOV is simply to atmosphere (hence the outside noise) vs the DV being held within

I gotta be honest with you watching this video made me cringe badly.. I’m not trying to act big and mighty or nothing, but honestly I did this same exact install on two of my friends vehicles already, and I did this job in 2 hrs. Longest part was refilling the coolant and running it thru a bleed cycle.... I agree with you it’s a difficult mod if you have no clue what your doing or don’t know anything about cars... index your car man so when you take shit off you can but it back on perfectly the first time and not waste time trying to figure shit back out, which angle you had your aftermarket boost pipe/charge pipe etc.... Just some advice.
