And much of that is carried in the voice I think, like it's as soft as the instruments and it makes you just want to flow 😌

Heard this for the first time at the hotel lobby I work at. I love how music can be so simple and complicated at the same time. The guitar at the beginning still gives me goosebumps

In this awful world where people refuse to see that there is more that binds us than separates us, and our supposed leaders are hell bent on destroying what we have, we will always have music. No matter how bad things are we can put on our headphones and be transported anywhere we want to be.

Lyrics : In a manner of speaking I just want to say That I could never forget the way You told me everything By saying nothing In a manner of speaking I don't understand How love in silence becomes reprimand But the way that I feel about you Is beyond words Oh give me the words Give me the words That tell me nothing Oh give me the words Give me the words That tell me everything In a manner of speaking Semantics won't do In this life that we live We only make do And the way that we feel Might have to be sacrificed So in a manner of speaking I just want to say That like you I should find a way To tell you everything By saying nothing Oh give me the words Give me the words That tell me nothing Oh give me the words Give me the words That tell me everything Oh give me the words Give me the words That tell me nothing Oh give me the words Give me the words That tell me everything

Listen to the original version by Tuxedo Moon, for all of us old Goths. This is a beautiful version but was shocked when I heard it in A Mighty Heart because I never knew anyone who even knew this song much less copy it!

@@blurryface1427 You're wrong. Nothing, absolutely nothing can beat Winston Tong's and Tuxedomoon's intensity and originality of the original version. NV's cover sounds like elevator music, like most of their terrible bossanova stuff.

Nouvelle Vague- french act I feel in love with. With her/their smoky voice(es), jazz rythm's they cross decades of old songs that too many younger generations would have never heard. Playing live the 2 women take turns singing and acting out in the bands increadable performances. They bring out real meaning to lyrics that are often too easily obscured by the original musicians artistry, only known or understood by the orginal bands true fans. 'Nouvelle ' unearths these incredible lyrics that too many miss which is great because it's poetry to me. On album her album (Special Edition) She does covers" In a manner of speaking" , Semantics won't do In this life that we live We only make do And the way that we feel Might have to be sacrificed, then Too Drunk to Fuck "Went to a party,I danced all night I drank sixteen beers & I started up a fight, But now I am jaded You're out of luck,I'm rolling down the stairs, 2 drunk to fuck, I love your stories,I like your gun Shooting out truck tires Sounds like loads and loads of fun" Guns of Brixton " When they kick at your front door,How you gonna come? With your hands on your head Or on the trigger of your gun? Then Killing Joke's Psyche " Dodge the bullet or carry the gun The choice is yours" You're alone in the pack You're feeling like you want to go home You're feeling unfinished but you keep on goingLook at the controller A nazi with a social degree A middle-class hero etc etc etc
