I went to school with the father of the youth that tragically died. I am at a loss of words. Such a sad tragedy. My heart is with them.

Im from Ontario and i knew a day before NS was getting hit hard! An hour before is not enough time and a fail in my opinion! My sister lives in wolfville and she also blew off my warning! That poor family who lost their son has my deepest condolences.

Where i grew up, we had large ditches on both sides of the road to eventually divert overflow to the main river. These days, drainage is too limited

Did you live on a small peninsula surrounded by ocean?

@whynot12321 its the same principle, dont live on very low elevation areas if you cant divert water or endure overflows. But its nice living by the water right?

@@whynot12321the drainage in the entire video appears inadequate. Of course, it's a flood risk.

@@AndreInThe416 it's within the limits of the town of wolfville. The drainage runs in pipes under the street that are fed by drains on the street. Ditches on either side of the road are not common in towns and cities but in rural areas they are.
