I've come to the conclusion that tennis has gotten way more tribal than football or other team sports. The way some fans act, as if their favorite player's achievements or wins are theirs is both funny and sad at the same time. I get that you sympathize with one player or the other, but some people are either trolls or identify that strongly with a certain player, that just by stating a personal opinion against said player will get you instant hate wherever you post. Must be pretty sad to not have anything better to do than wage a war of words and posts against other people over perceived disrespect towards your favorite player (considering they most likely don't even know you exist and wouldn't care even if they did)...

Impolite people deserve to be scolded, even if they pay a ticket, and Nole is a great teacher.

We know why some people dislike him: his nationality. Because he is Serbian. Not only because he is Serbian, he also defends Serbian action during Kosovo and Bosnia wars. Everybody knows that if Nato did not bomb Belgrade, Serbia kept killing Albanians and Bosnians. I am Novak fan. I believe he is the most successful among big 3 and I love his style. I especially love him for fighting for lower level tennis players’ rights. But this is the fact: some people dislike him because he is Serbian.

Some say he should be professional enough to not get affected by it. I disagree - firstly I know I would get affected by it . Secondly it is his character.
