I've come to the conclusion that tennis has gotten way more tribal than football or other team sports. The way some fans act, as if their favorite player's achievements or wins are theirs is both funny and sad at the same time. I get that you sympathize with one player or the other, but some people are either trolls or identify that strongly with a certain player, that just by stating a personal opinion against said player will get you instant hate wherever you post. Must be pretty sad to not have anything better to do than wage a war of words and posts against other people over perceived disrespect towards your favorite player (considering they most likely don't even know you exist and wouldn't care even if they did)...

He is the King of the tennis regime, respect him, he is regal🎉 and extremely great. I Love Novak and I am disgusted by those who behave regardlessly. #RESPECTNOVAK

It is disturbing that many people in the crowds both here and at Roland Garros think that they have the right to behave in an uncivilised manor when the other say 99% of people come to enjoy the tennis and support their tennis players

Some say he should be professional enough to not get affected by it. I disagree - firstly I know I would get affected by it . Secondly it is his character. He tries to treat everybody with respect so it is understandable that he expects the same in return. He shows how vulnerable he actually is. That is very human. I like him more as a result of showing emotions.

The fans reaction is a reflection of the likability of Novak djokovic. Would never happen to Nadal and Federer

Like everywhere there are signs to inform that rudeness, abuse of any sort and discrimination will not be tolerated the same should apply to sport spectators as it’s unacceptable.

You have to earn respect, Novak - your actions and words are the key to that. You’re not there - great player but not a good roll model!!

Es ist nicht jeder sein Fan damit muss er klar kommen. Man kann nicht die Zuschauer zwingen ihn zu mögen. Ganz ehrlich es gibt nettere Spieler😮

the end of the interview…how he points out his greatness and the ability to win grand slams and compare this ability to other players is the reason why people doesn’t like him and i can understand. i respect him as a player but he just has a side that thinks in terms of being the best. and for all people that speaks about „goats“: its so childish and unmature.. to find out who is beeing the best is not really a simple thing to say and its not about numbers. nadal and federer had more potential than novak and probably didn’t have the same mental coaching like novak. their style was much more interesting to watch. novak is ice cold and has luck with his body and that leads to his numbers, yes… but the whole stupid question to the „goat“ is more complex and in the end impossible and unnecessary to tell.. its just for people that like this narcissistic way of seeing the things, like novak himself

Well it's not easy to move frother from Big ''3'' and become the big 1 and GOAT. Nadal and Federer fans was hapy with same big 3. But things are changing and we will have big 2 now and Djokovic is already sapareated by results.
