Yes, the end result does not do justice to Pablo's performance. Novak is in his top shape. This year's trophy is not in Nadal's pocket IMO.

It liked me so much how pressure kept Cuevas in Novak' s game, there were many interesting rallies between both. Only remains me congratulating to the winners of this match, Nole and his dropshots.

good to see Nole is playing better and better this clay season, from loss in 1st round at home, loss to a low ranking Russian to loss to Rafa. He's is peaking at the right time. He had a chance to beat Rafa in the final but unlucky at key points. He's hitting the balls the way he wanted now, which is a great thing. Wish my man some luck on the way in RG

The big 3 are all court players. Nadal has a great record on hard courts just like djokovic has on clay. Federer and djokovic have been in 5 french open finals and nadal has been in 5 ao finals.

I watched this match on TV, it was very proper and good for watching. No so much unforced errors. Cuevas is a clay man and was playing good, but Novak was just too solid. We cannot minimized the level of this match. Good test for Novak. I hope he will play Roger and Nadal before winning the trophy.

Wow, Djokovic's drop shots have improved immensely this year in comparison with last year's Roland Garros. I really hope he can challenge Rafa's title run this time around and win his second career grand slam. Obviously Rafa is also on fire, I guess we just have to wait and see. Beating Rafa at Roland Garros at his best is the biggest test in the world of sports, and if anyone can do that, it has to be Novak.

@@jays1752 Youre forgetting that prior to that Nadal match he played Tsitsipas in a 5-set epic and had little recovery time to prepare for the final. Djokovic couldn't win his own serve in Set 1 that day. If he has an easier QF, I predict the semis will be much tighter like in Rome.

Djokovic must love playing Cuevas who doesn't overpower his opponent very often. Djokovic can be patient, use his defensive skills and go for an occasional winner.
