Every time I hear JFK speak of his gallant aspirations for America's future, I can't help but muse sadly about the what if's.. and how different the nation and the world might be if he had lived.

@KuriVaiM Dr. Paul is a military veteran but NOT at all like JFK. JFK was a combat war hero who put his life on the line to fight the fascists in Japan and to save his men from the consequences of their attack.

Kennedy's motorcade traveled on Grand Central Avenue in Tampa. The next year, it was renamed Kennedy Boulevard.

I had the honor as a 10 year ild to see his motorcade on the way to McDill AFB. He waved at me and smiled then blew a kiss to my younger sister. A couple days he was assassinated. We cried so many tears. My dad was stationed at McDill. We were a very patriotic family. I saw the beginning of the fight for freedom and will witness the finisher. Trump won. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

He was later in Miami that day, scheduled for a motorcade through that city, but the THIRD threat to him that month forced the Secret Service to cancel the limo route in favor of a helicopter ride to the planned site for his speech. The FIRST threat to his life in Nov. 1963 was on Saturday the 2nd in Chicago, and the plotters had a 'patsy', just as Oswald was 20 days later. That motorcade was scrubbed after the Secret Service learned of the plot against him there. He told the press he had a "cold" to give the public excuse on why he could not be there. In Tampa, the SECOND threat in Tampa was thwarted with the Secret Service performing flawlessly (nailing down high-rise windows, riding on the back of the limo, etc.) in the 26-mile motorcade there, the longest of his presidency. Therefore, there were at least THREE attempts on his life before Dallas on Friday, the 22nd. Proves once more on the numerous points others have made on why it could not be Oswald as the "lone shooter, and no conspiracy," when Dallas was the FOURTH threat on his life that month!

That why Harry Truman had say on July 1960 before the convention he urged JFK to step aside and say Senator are you ready to lead the nation and Are the nation ready for you and the Presidency need some maturity and Harry try to saved and spare JFK life.

@@andrebond678 Nobody could predict in Jul 1960 what was to be 3+ years later! Besides, if Nixon was elected, he would have gone to nuclear war with the goading of his military-intelligence agencies! He as VP, Eisenhower, and the CIA all colluded in the illegal invasion plot by early-1960, that Kennedy inherited! He was not as skeptical of their illegal plan to overthrow a foreign government until the CIA double-crossed him in going ahead with the Apr 1961 Bay of Pigs plot knowing ahead of time he told them no air power. Only after the failure did he wise-up and stop trusting them implicitly. That led him to his road to peaceful co-existence with both the USSR and Cuba after the close call in Oct 1962. On the morning just before he died, his French emissary to Castro, (Jean Daniel) was meeting in Havana with the Cuban leader, telling him of Kennedy's new policy of peace. After both heard the shocking news that afternoon, Castro said, "This is bad news." Peace was then halted for there, and in Vietnam from the new war hawks in the District of Criminals (or Corruption), who wanted Castro gone, and the same urge to still nuke the USSR in a blatantly illegal first strike! Kennedy and Khrushchev together using back-channel communication people, stopped the threat of nuclear war. LBJ reinstated the nuclear threat, and was the instigator of the plot and murder of Kennedy, as he was desperate to avoid an expose by LIFE magazine the next week, a current Senate investigation of his kickback corruption (bribery on passing legislation, with him as VP, continuing from his time in the Senate), etc. A very corrupt individual, power-hungry, and a war-hawk for his "glory" (and buying stocks on war material corporations, becoming a multi-millionaire) as was his political "daddy," FDR.

JFK should have listened to his friends and advisor not to go to Texas and should have rode in a helicopter to downtown Dallas rather take the ride to Limo is taking lot of time

@@andrebond678 He did not want to go to Texas! He told Jackie and maybe his closest advisors that he really did not want to make that trip. I believe he did tell his secretary.Evelyn Lincoln, but not 100% sure. He did tell her (she wrote in her memoir on her 10 years as his secretary), when asked about who will be VP in '64. He said, "it won't be Lyndon." (He planned to ask Gov. Terry Stanford of North Carolina to be the new VP nominee.) Probably another reason LBJ wanted him dead, besides him threatened by the Senate investigation on his many kickback money's (bribery) when VP, and before as Senator. And the upcoming LIFE magazine expose on his corrupt financial dealings. I believe Robert gave that expose article idea to LIFE to get rid of him for the '64 VP, as the excuse, a good one, with Lyndon's long history of making money via government holding hostage legislative bills unless he got kickbacks, and only then let it pass. As the Senate Majority Leader before shockingly accepting the lowly VP spot, RFK's prodding to a national publication to expose LBJ made sense. The trip to Texas was a trap, set by LBJ and his close friend, Gov. Connally. Connally was friendly with Kennedy, and vice versa. He was a conservative Democrat (as was LBJ), and was Sec of the Navy in the Kennedy administration until leaving in Dec. 1961, to run for Governor. As he was from 1963 to 1969. Nixon made him Sec of the Treasury in 1971. He stepped down in 1972 to lead the Democrats for Nixon organization. He never held elective office again, died on June 15, 1993 at 76. "THEY are going to kill us all!" --Gov Connelly after shot on Nov. 22, ,1963.

And the threat in Tampa, and the Friday Nov. 1 threat in Chicago that Kennedy told the press he "had a cold" so he couldn't be there for that motorcade! The plotters had a 'patsy' for Chicago, just as they had in Oswald 21 days later. Proving beyond any doubt there was a conspiracy and Oswald never fired a shot on anyone that day [and not officer J.D. Tippit in Dallas]! Someone else did on either the NW or SW window, the only one actually from the TSBD, to "prove" the shooter (Oswald as the patsy) did it from there! Clever, isn't it? FOUR plots against Kennedy in November, only the fourth one (in LBJs home State of TX, so he could control the "investigation" with his gang in Austin) was there the planned shooting, with the Secret Service foiling the others! In stark contrast to how badly they were in Dallas, just four days later. J.A. Milteer, the racist Kennedy-hater in Miami, told of the plan to "knock Kennedy off" to FBI informant William Somersett's hidden tape recorder on Nov. 9.

There was a known threat during that trip but he went on courageously, giving speeches, even standing in the convertible. He and his brother RFK took on the mafia for years, and had an effect. Say what you want but he was a more courageous leader than any we have seen since.

@@brober True. And despite the horror she had to go through in seeing him shot 3 times (not twice--once in the mid-back), she later said to the effect, "What if I wasn't there to be with him?" How brave for her to say that, wanting to be with him in his last two days alive, in the trip to Texas on Nov. 21-22. Those last 3 months of their life after early-August were the closest together they had been in many months, with Kennedy stopping his affairs with other women, so he could concentrate on Jackie in her recovery. He was also badly shaken and in tears after learning Patrick had died after two days struggling to breathe from undeveloped lungs. If this had occurred a decade or two later, Patrick might have been saved.

@@brianarbenz7206 LHO had nothing to do with the shooting. He was the "designated patsy" to take the blame, but he was never on the 6th floor, or shot anyone that day! That is the myth the government told everyone in '64, but it was an outright lie. Barry Ernest, "The Girl On The Stairs" (2013) proves LHO (nobody!) was on the SE 6th floor window, as 2 witnesses coming down from the 4th floor on those creaky, old stairs at the same time, saw or heard NOBODY! NOBODY! Also, more proof of his innocence: Mark Lane had a copy of the Dallas PD test on LHO for a nitrates gunpowder residue test on his face, hands, and clothes. He passed it, meaning no hard evidence of him shooting ANY gun that day--and that also exculpates him from officer J.D. Tippit's murder! Somebody else shot him, not LHO! There is the 2 hard evidence the government was lying through its usual lying mouth, in pronouncing any "fact." You can't trust government--any government! As liberal historian Howard Zinn said, on a YT video (search for it--if it is still here), "Government's lie. If they told the truth, they wouldn't be governments for long."
