Yeah I totally get that, GoPro fisheye footage makes things look really really weird, he was actually really close to me and obviously off to my left, we know our boundaries of when to shoot and when not to for obvious safety reasons.

I'm being lazy at work with enough time to finish the entire video...just a random question: what shells do you use for both grouse and woodcocks? Would #6 Steel work for both?

#6 is about the largest I would shoot, I ideally like a #7 1/2 or #8 sometimes even a #9 but getting small for Grouse, smaller shot sizes for on the wing, #5 or #6 for shooting on the ground. In Ontario we're allowed to use lead for Woodcock so I primarily shoot lead, when hunting Snipe (requires non-toxic) I use a #6, #6 1/2 or #7 steel since that's the smallest I can find.
