this is becoming one of the most interesting strongman channels, english translation is a bit hard to understand, but i don't care, Alexis humour comes across and you still get the gist of what he is saying

For someone who has the world record 18inch deadlift I’d expect him to have a much better deadlift. Obs an enormous deadlift but given his pedigree I expected much more. 850lbs is average by strongman standards

Deadlifts look great! So many strongmen use that wide stance, arched, sumo-like set up. It's refreshing to see deadlifts done like deadlifts.

This is a good point why going to therapy isnt always good, as it can nocebo or irritate things that wouldve been fine left on their own.

But it you just leave them one day (and that day is enough) you will feel completely broken or even injure yourself ALOT. But anyway, weightlifting, powerlifting and strongman are never injure free. You can never be fine all year round.

For your knees, check out knees over toes guy. As far as I can tell, tibialis raises and nordic ham curls help bulletproof knees. Also backwards walking for a few minutes daily. Look how much running forward and stopping you do. Now work the opposite, walk backwards, you can load this with an exergenie.

just a pure stupid question, since i just googled world's strongest man and Oleksii Novikov is at the top.. does lifting heavy weights makes a person's punch stronger?? just wondering.. i mean of course duh he is dead strong, hell even stronger than average guys when it comes to a punch.. but let's say a trained boxer who punches everyday in training.. does a lightweight like ryan garcia, pacman, or mayweather punches stronger than Oleksii Novikov??

He said that to be fair he would randomly choose a person from each channel and then used a randomizer to choose between two winners from 2 channels. Pakistani guy and vladimir won in the first random round but in the second round (between 1 and 2), vladimir won the giveaway. If at 20:20 there was a number 2 instead of 1, Pakistani guy would have won the prize.

Oleski also give attention to his abdominals (stomach) if his abdominal will be strong it will help him in lifting heavy weights easily. Special exercises for abominals to keep his abdominal strong. Adominal is central part of body 🌸

@@williamgolding7126 what do YOU know about recovery? We know that to be at the top level of the elite, you NEED to prioritize recovery and stuff outside of the training and workload itself. Mateusz seems to have this problem as well. His diet isn't strict enough, and his lack of recovery and rest has made him almost end his Strongman career, who knows how good he'll be after recovering from a yet another tricep setback. The guys to have won consistently are Brian and Thor, and Eddie won against both of them because of his absolute obsession with everything pertaining to growth and strength gains, like recovery.

However, i don't know about Novikov's recovery procedures and methods, so that's why I didn't say anything abou it and unless you know Novikov personally, well you don't know about his recovery methods either. That's it. Stop speculating with verbs like "it seems". I hear Novikov mentionning a lot of recovery in his videos and he says all of it just doesn't get filmed.
