This vid is misleading in two aspects: the wonderful recording is from CLAVDIA Novikova, not Paola (the teacher of London and Gedda). And the lady on the picture is Wilma Lipp.

as I die… I want to hear Miss Novikova singing … to remind me (always) that this life is a "veil of tears" -- caused by laughter! lol!

George London's and Nicolai Gedda's teacher was Paula Novikova, not Claudia!

Almost everything is wrong here: this is NOT Gedda's and London's teacher. The one who is singing is Klavdija (Claudia) Novikova, who spent her whole life in Russia - no chance of teaching Gedda or London in the US. Their teacher was Paola Novikova, who made no recordings as far as I know.
