I think the staging is great and the proof of that is she doesn't move AT ALL during the performance, but you're not bored once throughout the 3 minutes because of the light show and effects. It's great.

She said in interviews that she were dealing with in-ear issues, which caused some of the shaky vocals, especially in the beginning where nerves also kicked in due to the in-ear. During her superfinal performance she even takes it out early on and had much more confidence there, with less shaky vocals too. For their Eurovision performance they've said that the plans are to keep the same concept, generally improve everything about the staging, especially the lights and lasers. Some people have suggested more on the stage like dancers, but I don't think it would fit the song. And it would be distracting IMO. Saba is THE moment on the stage! As some people have pointed out, a couple of years ago a song like this wouldn't stand out. But this year we have a lot of alternative songs and a "generic" pop song like this might actually stand out in between it all. And you're right, compared to previous years where Denmark has struggled to qualify, people are actually liking this song! Currently number 10 on the overall scoreboard and people do enjoy it!

I really like this, nothing groundbreaking but still enjoyable, her voice is great and the light show was on point, the only problem i have is the fact shes standing on an Ikea coffe table, she needs a different Platform to stand on, they could maybe have some dancers on sand idk, its high on my list

I actually stopped watching Danish Melody Grand Prix because of the songs for the past… 8 years. Really bad I think. But maybe I should watch from next year?

Fun fact: Her earpiece malfunctioned during the intro and therefore it was a shaky start. It was also her first time performing in front of a large audience, so I guess nerves is to be expected. I have stage freight, soooooo 🤣 The song is partially "Swedish" as one of the song writers is Swedish lol 🤣 I wasn't to fond of this song to begin with but not gonna lie... it's grown on me since. Catchy and I love all the lighting.

I love Denmark's entry this year, it is in my top 5 so far. It is safe but if executed correctly, it could end up pulling a similar result as Estonia last year. The performance could use a few tweaks here and there to get it to this point 💛

Top 3 songs for me so far, I agree that it’s nothing particularly challenging especially with songs like Ireland in the pack, but for me the chorus just grabs me and I will find myself humming the oohs subconsciously. I’m slightly apprehensive of it’s chances, but with a good elevation of the staging presentation, i can see this being something that people in the general viewing audience will vote for, especially people who enjoy the 2010’s throwback. Though I am very willing for it to do well

This song sounds like it could be in a Target commercial to me. Something about the "ooh-ooh-o-o" vocal and the bland, yet upbeat piano music makes me half-expect a female voice-over to pop up like "buy our denim jeans 50% off now!"

i brushed this off as being too generic but it is earwormy as all hell, it won't leave my brain. Saba is a great performer, i'm actually a bit pissed that they keep uploading the version with her studio vocals everywhere because despite the issues she sounded great. she was the right (and only) choice for Denmark.

I wish you would of listened to the national performance on the night because it has definitely been altered on the KZfaq national final performance. Her are live vocals were not this good, she was shaky and very quiet at times. The light on the chest has been done before, Azerbaijan 2019. I don’t care but people keep banging on about Ollie Alexander can’t use a turning stage affect ,because it’s already been done before nonsense. So for that reason you have to criticise them all. Anyhoo, it was easily the best of the night , but the selection was awful tbh. It’s not in my top 10, very uk-esque for me. I think it will qualify because it’s in the weaker semi
