If you don’t know, in the game gear version of Sonic 2, Tails is captured. There are two endings, one where you save Tails and one where you don’t. This seems to be based off of the second one

Yes, that's what i was thinking. Hell, the creepy portrait of Tails seems to be an edited version of the one that appear in the sky in the bad ending. Also, I'm pretty sure there a creepypasta that use that ending and do a similar thing as these footage.

You know what I'd _really_ like to see creepy fan-made footage of? *_Prototypes._* (And I don't just mean for _Super Mario 64,_ either.) All it takes is a _bit of research_ in order to transform any _unused beta concept_ into a *_literal nightmare._* _(Even if the details aren't exactly spot-on.)_

Agree, the feel of "this is similar but not" feel prototypes have can give some weird vibes, plus id like to have a bit of both The usual, creepy stuff that are MADE to be creepy, since it can be done right And the ones that have the unsettling touch, and can make you feel weird for other kinda stuff, like the mario 64 beta Archive channel,
