the first time I saw one of these (the European kind) I was laughing so hard. We don’t get them in the US. I was living in Germany at the time and having a rough time and then this MASSIVE wood pigeon showed up at my window and I couldn’t believe how fat he was and it was a very much needed laugh.

Here in New Zealand we call this Borb a Kererū! On my street we have an abundance of a certain plant/flower that the Kererū love so I see a lot of them during spring time! I really love these chonky pigeons, so cute!!!
