Thanks for the great reaction. It's taken me a bit to draft a comment because there is so much to talk about. As an ex-musician and performer, I understand exactly what you are talking about. And as someone who has followed Angelica on her social media since she was 4 years old, I agree with much of what you said and have had similar concerns. She is such a perfectionist and so much wants her fans and those who watch to enjoy every performance. But she also clearly knows that she's not perfect and continually strives to get better, whether it be singing, or acting, or dancing, or playing the piano and guitar/ukulele. She is constantly writing her own songs (she gives us a peak every so often) but hasn't released anything recently and I'm sure it's because she doesn't feel that they are good enough yet. And she wants to be an independent artist and produce her own music, so she's been spending a lot of time and effort learning how to arrange the piano accompaniment and backup vocals as well as editing the audio and video to produce her own music videos. I often worry about her work/life balance (a strange thing to say about a 15-year-old) and am always pleased to see her post about fun things she does with friends that shows that she is still a kid (like going to a high school Homecoming). I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to watch her grow as a person and an artist, thanks to modern social media (her KZfaq channel has over 300M views but thanks to COPA all of the comments before she turned 14 have been removed). I have no doubt that she will be a superstar, and she is so talented her opportunities are limitless. She could be a singer/performer, a Broadway star, a movie star, a songwriter/producer, or even a graphic artist (her artwork is beautiful). Hopefully, she will continue to seek out professionals like you who will be willing to give her honest feedback and advice to help her continue to improve. Then all of us get to enjoy everything she will be giving to us for many years to come.

I love your reaction here. You may or may not know this but this particular song is special to her and she relates to it as she almost died at the age of 4 when she went into a coma and was on life support for 12 days I believe it was. She got sepsis because her Kidneys shut down. So from an early age she has learned about the emotions that Rise Up evoke.

I know that when Angelica hits them notes, the feeling you get is spiritual and since God gave us the ability to create music, that is his love coming through others to touch you.

Thank you for your reaction, I don't know if you're aware, but when Angelica was sick with double pnumonia and sepsis when she was four, she lost both of her kidneys and went on dialysis for ayear and a half before she recieved a kidney from her mom, her right lung lost 10% of its capacity, also she had to learn to walk again, maybe that's why she tensed up on those long notes, she has worked so hard to overcome these hurdles, but it may still need some work to get there totally 😉, she has also released quite a lot of music she wrote, at 7 years old she wrote feel the magic, then overcome, for the sepsis alliance she wrote and sang "no time to waste", my favourite is "broken soul", she has writen many more, but it is expensive to release records so she is still writing but not releasing any just yet. That was really interesting. I noticed the run in the second chorus being not quite perfect, but I didn't notice the way she pulled herself up on it. Angelica has mentioned that she struggled with perfectionism when she was little.That would have been what drove her to work so hard and develop her singing, but she also put a lot of pressure on herself. I heard herself say recently "perfection doesn't exist", so hopefully she is being kinder to herself xx
