Our AGM batteries were always too weak for demand and ended up dying before three years of ownership.

As someone who has upgraded the most basic lead acid 12 DC set up in a 2007 camper to lithium, my advice is to do the upgrade as part of the original factory build even if it is twice the price of a D.I.Y. install.

22 owner that had to go the diy route. Standard 8 guage wiring is a big improvement. Are you still using the atwood connectors for truck/camper connection?

Will the camper come pre-wired for a solar panel if we decide to add panels + charge controller (DIY) at a later date?

kzfaq.info/get/bejne/r9OFetByqLq1h58.html - Campers produced from March 20 2023 and on will have a differnt system & will have different wiring as shown in this video - Most new campers will be pre-wired for solar and have exterior solar plugs - Campers from early 2010’s may have the solar pre-wired without plugs - Campers from 2010’s or prior may not have solar pre-wire - Be sure to check the polarity of the plugs and wires
