5 жыл бұрынIn this ALL Semi Final game the defending champs Whitby Steelhawks came out hot. After weathering the storm we (St. Catharines Shockwave) were able to settle in and continue playing our game! We ended up winning this game and moving on to the ALL Championship.
Towards the end of the game a player on the opposing team decides to two handed slash me in the head. I decided that's not how its going down and proceed to teach him otherwise.

Fighting should 100% be a part of box lacrosse. Bill, are the new fines in the NLL so high they don't fight as much? We really love your vids! my sons watch them for tips and game play.

Vince thanks for tuning in! The NLL is trying to get away from fighting as the game grows, just like Hockey did in the 80's/90s.

Unfortunately just like hockey, It looks like most contact sports and the fear of public image/injuries drive them away from parts of the sport that make them what they are. If it's anything like the NHL did in the 80s/90s like Bill mentioned, it'll come back around. It sells tickets, the NHL realized that to some degree.

The key is to hold your hands closer together and time your cross checks when someones isn't running full speed at you!

Check out the National Lacrosse League its professional box lacrosse. I played Division 1 football and found that box lacrosse is more physical.

Box lacrosse is all short sticks, you can get a couple inches on defense but everyone needs to control the ball.

Offensive guys usually don't crosscheck, its legal for a defender to keep players out of the middle. I imagine you've never played.

Its short for reverse transition, when players are on a fast break someone needs to protect against 'reverse' transition, if you call it out then you're responsible.
