What did she do with Ahmed? Why did she not marry him then? . Why did she refuse the ranch offered to her by Ahmed? Why did she stop him after Ahmed kissed her? Did she go on the tour to flirt with him. Yes she had changed but not in the way to dump Ty. Yes one wrong thing was she didn't talk to Ty about Ahmed's proposal. That hurt her and that is why she couldn't kiss Ty bcoz of guilt. She was still in love with Ty. She changed in a way that she wanted to make Heartland expand after all the luxuries she had seen in Europe. She didn't have to say sorry to Ty for not falling for Ahmed.🙂 Yes Amy did put the horses first , she didn't care if the horses belonged to her enemies, her admirers, Chase(she initially said no to Chase horse but the horse reminded her of Pegasus) and that pissed Ty. ..... Ahmed kiss happened on the last day of tour. Didn't he knew that Amy was engaged. Ahmed became obsessive and that's not her fault. Whatever happened in the years made Amy and Ty love stronger to build a strong foundation for their married life. Though their married life lasted only for a few years while it lasted it was perfect. They belonged to each other.

It might be best if you read the comments of John E and Kevin made under this other HL video: Heartland - Season 7, Episode 1 - Picking Up the Pieces - Full Episode It is undeniable that Amy initiated and willingly participated in an emotional affair with Ahmed that started well before the European Tour and continued even after she returned home. Here are the facts that prove this is true. 1. Amy is the one who initiated the emotional affair by her actions throughout season 7. The most obvious was when she, as an engaged woman, went out of her way to approach Ahmed alone and very personally and intimately told him how deeply his gift of the Miracle Girl saddle meant to her. She hated the term MIracle Girl so this came accross as an obvious emotional advance by Amy toward Ahmed. It told him that she considered him much more than "just a friend" and that she might be open to much more. Engaged people dont express those type of feelings with friends of the opposite sex. Ahmed got the message and started to pursue her just like Chase did after Amy told him that her Promise Ring only meant that she and Ty were friends. 2. Amy over reacted to Tys willingness to risk "his savings" to try and help him pay for his share of their wedding and the ranch by buying Charger without getting her approval first. She expressed personal disrespect to Ty when she basically called him a sexist, told him he was stupid and irresponsible for his decision, and when she told him that she was so upset by his actions that she was going to reconsider their engagement. Wow! Hardly the the type of understanding response that you would expect from a loving finance simply because Ty expressed a normal mans desire to provide for his family and not be dependent on her for money. I thought women wanted a man with courage who was willing to sacrifice for them? Even after she won the race earning them all a lot of money Amy said to Ty "one thing at a time" meaning "we will just have to see how things go" after he asked her about the status of their relationship. That meant that she was no longer committed to marrying him and was still upset. She then used that issue as an excuse to get Ty to give her his permission to go on the Tour alone with Ahmed even though she knew it was wrong. Even Tim told Ty he was crazy to let Amy go. Why didnt Tim say something to Amy about why she was leaving.? The answer to your question is yes she did go on the European Tour to continue her relationship with Ahmed and to once and for all decide if she really wanted to marry Ty or not. And worse yet, she knew that Ty knew that is what she was doing also. 3. She deliberately and intentionally let Ahmed kiss her at the party. That is why she couldnt kiss Ty when she came home. She saw that kiss coming and didnt object or turn away in the slightest. Afterward she said that she pushed him back and told him that they "could only be friends" but who knows. No one saw what happened next. In any case, is that it? Hardly a slap to the face for doing something so objectionable to a engaged woman, especially one who is supposedly devoted to her finance and has no personal interest in Ahmed as Amys proclaims. Amys weak response only encouraged Ahmed to keep doing more. He knew that she would continue to accept his advances just as she had done more and more since the start. Her accepting of this kiss and his expensive gifts later on proved this to be true. 4. Your claim that "Amy is stll in love with Ty" is suspect if not proven outright false by every element of her behavior. How could any woman leave her loving fiance to travel alone with a single rich Prince for over 4 months and not really care if she ever spoke to him or not? I just dont see how any engaged woman would do what Amy did (the lieing, the rejection of his kisses / intimate acts, and the clear intention to never tell him the truth) and yet still consider herself honest and committed to him. Talk about being emotionally abusive. She truly didnt care or even consider how much emotional damage she caused Ty to feel . 5 As far as Amy changing, she did change but not in the important areas. She never became more trustworthy by admitting to her lies and what she had done wrong. She never became more forgiving by extending to Ty the same forgiveness and understanding that he had always given to her. She never became more committed and faithful by letting Ty know that her love for him was real and that he didnt need to pretend anymore that she loved him in order to stay with her. She never became more sincere because she continued to say anything to get what she wanted. That includes her expressions of love in the barn and her repeatedly telling Ty "its not my fault that he thought we were more than friends". She knew that was not true. Amy had been through this same type of thing 4 years earlier with Chase so she knew exactly what she had done. Again, all of this is made worse by Amy being completely willing to lose Ty rather than ever apologize to him for what she had done. It was always Ty who had to be the one to save their relationship. Lastly, as for your argument that Amy being willing to marry Ty (after he proposed to her for the third time) meant that she chose him and loved him more than Ahmed or her career, well here is a comment I made about that topic on another video. It read: This discussion caused me to think of a prior exchange I had with a young woman. This young woman said that because Amy eventually agreed to marry Ty that this act proved that she had chosen him and loved him more than Ahmed or her career.. I thought to myself "oh really, what does that really prove?" Lets look back at a few other important relationship committments that Amy made in her life but later proved didnt really mean that much to her. Here they are.. 1. Amy reconciles with Ty: Amy makes up with Ty by kissing him on the cattle drive. She then immediately starts flirting with Caleb and playing him and Ty off against each other. Talk about lies and leading a person on. 2. The Promise Ring: Amy accepts Ty's Promise Ring but refuses to tell Chase what it really means. She intentionally flirts with Chase and ends up in a romantic relationship with him when they kiss each other. It doesnt look like this Promise Ring committment meant very much to her. It certainly didnt prevent her from encouraging another man to pursue her. 3. Ty's "breathtaking" proposal and the Engagement Ring:: even accepting an engagement ring (committing to marry someone) didnt stop Amy from telling a rich single man how much his gift of a silly Miracle Girl saddle meant to her. This personal and intimate expression of feelings ended up starting an emotional affair that would last for months. It also proved to be the real reason why Amy wanted to take a 4 month "break" from Ty to travel alone with Ahmed in Europe while she openly reconsidered her engagement. Backing away from this committment so easily based on the most flimsy of excuses (Ty buying Charger without her approval) proves again that her engagement didnt mean that much to her. (Saying yes to a marriage proposal just because of the "breathtaking" atmosphere when the man pops the question is the stupidist thing imaginable yet that is exactly what Amy did). 4. Marriage: Yes Amy married Ty but it didnt take long for her to express her unhappiness with Ty for not supporting her career over his own job responsibilities and for expecting her to be the primary parent in raising their daughter. It appears that marriage didnt mean that much to her. She likely would have cheated on Ty again if he hadnt died first. That is simply what cheaters do. 5 Tys Death: The committment involved in Tys death would be to remember him and help Lyndy remember her father also. Amy proved that she wasnt that interested in either one. Her speech at the memorial tribute was filled with self serving statements about her and Ty being "soul-mates" and how she planned to move on from him as soon as the viewers would let her because that is what Ty would want her to do. She acknowledeged his love but did not express what his unconditional love and forgiveness really meant to her. That love, after all, was the only reason she had Lyndy and a happy marriage in the first place. I dont think Ahmed or Chase would have loved her and made her happy like Ty did. If she had wanted to honor Ty she would have buried him in the family cemetary with a proper headstone monument where Lyndy could go remember him. That is a whole lot better than scattering his ashes in some remote and random field even if it is was somewhere on the HL ranch. Indeed, I think all of these events prove pretty well that Amy was never really committed to anything other than her own best interests. That continues to be the case even in the most recent seasons. It didnt need to be that way and the series could have been so much better if the producers had only held Amy accountable for her behavior.

She had loads of ‘boyfriends’ and some of them just to try and make Ty jealous. She wasn’t always very nice to Ty but never apologised. More like her father and sister and not her mother who stayed on her own when Tim left her and concentrating on her daughters and work with horses. Amy understood and loved horses more than humans.
