Well, We know that she isn't proud of any of them: at lunch Howard brought out the fact that Leonard's sister and brother were a very successful medical researcher and Harvard law professor. Howard says "You must be very proud!" and she replies "Why? They aren't MY achievements!" -I get the impression that there wasn't a lot of kids' paperwork on this family's refrigerator back in the day!

It reminds me of all the “IQ tests for dummies”. They are designed to make you feel good. Just remember that most people with high IQ’s work for people with lower ‘IQ’s.

Not to mention that conducting psychoanalysis or psychotherapy on a family member or friend is gross malpractice and can get your licence revoked in most countries. My mom is a psychiatrist and when I asked her whether she ever used her training to analyze (and influence) my sister and me, she said that she actively tries not to analyze us because it's extremely bad practice. Of course sometimes you do it subconsciously but when she catches herself, she stops immediately.
