No joke, I kinda wanna see them try to adapt this into an off-Broadway musical. If it can work for such movies as “Beauty and the Beast,” “The Lion King,” “The Little Mermaid,” “Avenue Q” and “The Book of Mormon,” the latter two being the raunchiest musicals I’ve ever seen or heard of, what’s the harm in giving this a shot?

I could honestly see this working out. “Eight Crazy Nights” is a fairly grounded story, with the only outlandish elements being Whitey and Elenor, but those two can be recreated using makeup and knelt-body partial puppetry (similar to Lord Farquaad in “Shrek: The Musical”). All you need to do is bring back Adam Sandler and Robert Smigel to assemble a new song writing/choreography team.

Dont let your hair clog the drain. Say bull spit, not bull shit. Spray lysol after using the bathroom. Dont use the monogramed towel. Say heinie instead of ass. Dont make fun of her feeties. Dont feed her sugar cookies (or anything with sugar, really). No sleeping past three. No pissing in the plants. No using instruments to get high. No long distance calls. No walking around with your MORNING ERECTION. Don't laugh at Eleanore for looking like an owl. Or else I can go rot in the gutter because THAAAAAAAT'S a technical foul.
