@@christopherbest82 I was actually contemplating a similar thought today. To older people , the past is as real as the present , so the present that was the future, is the same as the past. It's really hard to put into words, but time is really an illusion in many ways. a sound , smell, anything can put you instantly into a past moment. so the present moment is just the same as past moments. if that makes any sense. but the way you say it makes sense as well. I think it's this way because now there is so much recording of life in image, video and sound recordings.

@@ericexaybachay but not really. there will never be another Beethoven or Led Zeppelin, or Devo, or Elvis etc etc. because at the time of the birth of something new, it's always going to sound like it was the first to do it. not saying new bands can't have a new sound, but every dimension of sound has already been done. the fastest and the slowest, the saddest and the maddest. all been done. but that doesn't mean some one can't rock their ass off and make it their own.

I can corroborate on that. I saw them last year at Terminus in Calgary AB, they were the highlight of the weekend for sure.

She is one of the writers. They’re a band, not a “she” and they’ve all been playing music in various bands for a very long time. Also, if this is forgettable, please explain why this song has been in my head nonstop for 2 days

@@djjustdave I guess compare this to Hyaena era Siouxsie. The writing on songs like Dazzle and Swimming Horses is unique, this is generic. But I am honestly glad you enjoy it.

@@tommeadows-ie2xb These people are my friends, I love what they’re doing and I’m very proud of them. Hyaena is a high bar, one of the most iconic albums of all time. I say give this band a minute, this is their 2nd album. They’re good players and creative people, trust me on that.
