Trust me man, you might consider mods for KCD in Nexus, they're piss easy to install, and can improve your experience drastically. I wish I didn't played vanilla as my first playthrough. Anyway, have a blast!

@@tytanowyjanusz9984 Vanilla is fine for me right now. Still haven't finished the game so I cant tell in the long run. Although I have installed the unlimited saving mod because the savior schnaps is a little bit too far in term of realism.

You can brew, steal or find them, but alchemy, although quite nice is very time consuming. On the other hand it makes you explore the map which has a lot of hidden, interesting stuff.

Anyway I'm quite hardcore about my games in the way that I love to play them without any help (mods, fast travel, items that make you overpowered, etc) and I like to take my time to fully explore the game. On the other hand, I like to have a saving or quicksaving feature because I hate wasting time. Sometime you'll be playing an hour without saving, and if you die or something bad happens you're good to do that hour of content all over again. And that's exactly the kind of thing that happens in KCD. Yes I can still go to sleep or craft potions, but having to do a chore just to be able to save seems a bit off to me. There are already a lot of "survival" mechanics you have to manage, no need to make it so you can't even save when you want or need to.

@@NPCUniverse There should be blood splatter on the ground especially when the unarmoured dudes get chopped to pieces. Do you have a "zzz_BCAIC_SensibleBloodSplatter.pak" in the mod folder?

Yeah I just checked it is there, weird. Would have been great to see that blood from unarmoured dudes.

Thank you for the breakdown, I love reading this stuff, you are right NPCs could have been coded better, they normally more passive then this in vanilla but I'm using a mod to make them more aggresive. You surely have more info than me about this game, I have like 30-40 hours and in most of it I was doing NPC battles. Well I still look from the bright side for this game when it comes to NPCs, like their daily routines, they go fill their plates, sit and eat and then leave the empty plate to somewhere else(stuff that I showed here, there are much more things like that in the game). These little things are stuff that shows me they cared about NPCs, they didn't just throw them into the game. This stuff should be normal things in RPG games but companies more care about graphics and visuals in these days(example cp 2077)

@@NPCUniverse Not sure about vanilla anymore, I've been playing on Better Combat and Immersion compilation, with disabled HUD, slow mo, blue stamina effects, crosshairs, no arrow trays etc. (which makes it WAAAAAAY more immersive than it is by default!) and all the other bullshit that players need to remove from the game themselves... Sadly, the developers didn't think about it - I'm not an expert, but it seems to me it wouldn't be that hard - just to program HUD-less version of a game. I hope it'll be a standard one day! If you could somehow combine your gameplay with the NPC universe, i think that'd be awesome - imagine poisoning or intoxicating food or wine and filming the reaction - despite playing so long I've never got to see enemies go drunk, or how do they suffer from a poisoning (and i do not mean poison administered by a Stinger lol). And another thing - please consider doing some duels as you did in some of the previous videos. They were nice to watch, 1v1 combat is where this combat system shines. A little better camera movement, same weapons for both warriors, some different types of enemies - I'd delighted to watch it. When it comes to duels, scenery can be different than arena or Pribislavitz, which would also show great graphics of this game. Also, with music off you do pay more attention to ambient and sounds in general, and these are absolutely great. One important thing tho - i recommend picking flat spots. With height differences flights tend to go clunky. Is it possible to make some uninterrupted duels in Exanima atm, or the only way to go are 3v3 or 3vBeast matches? I would love to see some Blademasters fighting dual wielding Masters, heavily armed Undead Guards fucking up a Beast with spears. I also wonder if it's possible to spawn enemies in the dungeons? Imagine a zombie horde instead of 1 at the very beginning of the game. Damn! Whoa that's a lot of text! Sorry about it, was just sharing my thoughts with somebody passionate about the same games (I've been loving Titanfall 2 series too!), I wish my PC wasn't that shitty, I could try to do it myself instead of just giving ideas. But, maybe you, or anyone else will like it - and if so, I'll be glad x) o7 brother!

​@@tytanowyjanusz9984 I also love 1v1 duels with no music, you already know it, just someone said he wanted to see more NPCs so I switched to a different style, though I will get back to 1v1 and try to improve it with the things you mentioned, better areas, better angles, balanced weapons/NPCs etc. it is easier to balance it when it is only 1v1. Also duels in exanima is possible. About spawning, I know it is possible somehow but it is tricky and needs time to understand, for example at first to add a simple zombie to arena I spent 2 days to understand which parts of the codes represents NPCs and even making them work, hold weapons etc was quite hard at the beginning. So for now I will stick with the arena but I wanna get into singleplayer dungeons too, actually I never though of it until you mentioned, that is a great idea, I will start thinking/working on that 😀 Also heavily armed undead vs beast is possible and I will do that too. Thanks again for your comments and suggestions, it really helps me to improve the quality of the videos. Now I shall go back to editing my upcoming Stalker video. O7 brother!

Only mod I'm using is something called "cheats" which makes the command console enabled. You can find that mod in nexus mods. And I just use console commands and NPC spawn codes. This Cuman camp was there, I just spawned Rattay guards and they attack each other on sight.

Hey 👋 On Odyssey we have a story creator which makes it possible to spawn NPCs but in Origins I don't know a way to do that. Only way would be run around and hope that NPCs start fighting each other I guess 😄 Also which mod are you talking about, is it like a spawner mod?
