Babi and Hugo were toxic, but he got mature and reformed himself cos of it.. Some people are saying Babi left, while Gin stayed. Gin only got to know the RESPONSIBLE and charismatic Hugo, if she had met him earlier in his toxic nature, I doubt she'd stay💁‍♂️ That's fact!🤷‍♂️ Edit: oh wow! Hugo was toxic, and a criminal too, not in a high level, but he was. Baby it's selfish and immature, she can't stay with Hugo after he slap her, but start a relationship with other guy too fast, in the scene where she was in bed with her new boyfriend and he touches her, she started thinking about Hugo, in her place I had go home and break up with him, it's better being alone instead of staying with someone that we don't love.

@@clearsky4003 you're right. But i'm not saying Babi must stay in a toxic relationship Hache, but start a relationship with someone that we don't love is not good, we saw she in bed with her new boyfriend thinking in Hache. Sometimes it's not bad stay alone until to appear a new love.

@@mitchwills7130 I saw the clips for the first movie and still think she’s selfish. Everyone had problems yet Babi acted like hers were the only ones that mattered. She was too judgmental not caring about what others were going through. This is why her best friend distanced herself as she realized Babi wasn’t a good friend or girlfriend and stuck by Hugo. I think the Babi character lacked empathy and the fact that she cheated on her fiancé with Hugo just shows how self absorbed she is. She wasn’t trust worthy or loyal.

yeah and hugo is an angel literally hitting his girlfriend and treating her like sh*t whenever things went bad in his life? also are you seriously saying she leaves at their lowest? he slapped her you have to be ill to keep dating with someone like that. before that in the motorbike scene he was also in a pretty bad condition too didn’t see babi leaving him tho.

It's funny how Babu finally realises Hugo's pain only after she went through really a hard time, but she was late and should've left without Interfering between Hugo and Gin.

Both were Toxic.. however, truth be told as most usually the case is everywhere, the cute innocent pretty girl never admits or accepts or never comes back, whenever things go wrong ! That's what happened here as well and that's what the case is.. they make life tough and difficult, a girl is not supposed to make life difficult, in fact, it should be to make life and relationships easier and bind with .. that's why Gin won and stayed and understood things, while babi ... Apparently Lost.

I remember watching the first movie and already not liking Babi as she was just another rich girl falling for the badboy just to spite her parents 😴their story is quite cliche and boring, but I liked it anyways cause Mario Casas played such a charismatic Hache and also loved Katina and Pollo. When they announced the second movie with a different female protagonist I was sold even before the premiere. But I could never expect to love Gin as much as I did. She was the opposite to Babi and the most perfect fit to Hugo. Such an assertive, down to earth and passionate girl, she fell for Hache and fought for his love in a way Babi would never do. She definitely inspired me at an age when I would actually look up to fictional characters 😂. This character is a breath of fresh air for romance movie fans, I liked her so much that it made me watch the Italian version and read the book, but this Clara Lago’s portrayal of Gin is still my favorite. I remember being so obsessed with this movie in my teens, it’s so heart wrenching and touching. This is a nostalgic recap to me for sure haha

Babi was just a copy of her mother. In the end, she settled down with someone comfortable and suitable. She tried not to make her mother's mistakes but she was bound to end up in the same pair of shoes of a boring, controlling, paranoid narcissist. I actually prefer the Italian version of Babi and the Spanish version of the male character. While I didn't like Gin at all I couldn't help but feel hurt for her not just because of the assault but for being the second best forever as I believe deep down he will always want Babi. I don't remember what happens in the books.
