Since the test is adaptive, can you go back to a question? If not do you at least find out if you got a question right after you select an answer?

No, the exam will not allow you to move back to previous questions. You will also not get any feedback during the exam, or immediately after.

Can notes be taken during the test? I like to tally questions I feel sure about. This is because im a terrible test taker

The testing center will have a whiteboard that you will be able to use to make notes and do calculations if needed. You will not be allowed to bring anything in with you. I am not sure about testing at home as far as note taking, but I would imagine that you will not be allowed to. We have had students report that they will get a message to keep their eyes on the screen if they look away from the screen for a few seconds.
