Warriors really wimping out in the last couple of games. Started brightly but beginning to show a soft-underbelly again. I reckon if they had just kept Curran for another dynamic driving player down the middle they'd be posting more points and threat in attack. Oh well, maybe they can turn a corner again? Fair play to Newcastle, they look a bit tougher than the whipping boys of last few years.

Getting sick of Johnson’s field kicking and game management. It’s so predictable. If I was a Wahs supporter, I’d be so frustrated. And why did he go for 2 short dropouts when they had to defend additional sets. First one failed. Later, went for another, failed, and led to the Knights winning try. Disappointing. They had a few extra days off, I thought Wahs were gonna reset and make a statement today

@@moronicdooshbaggery756 nah we are pretty much gone already. Webster keeps talking about “tackling” “defence” we need more spark in attack. All I hear is him talking about defence 24/7. We have been in pretty much every game this season except for the dragons game. But we get so many opportunities but can’t convert. There’s something majorly wrong with our attack.

Warriors should of kept Curran and Sironen, they were both great off the bench and could play multiple positions, instead they got capewell and ford who are both plodders and do sweet fa most of the game

I'll still support the Warriors but they only generally have one good season a decade. They had it last year, so there won't be another for a while. Next three games: Roosters, Panthers, Dolphins, which is 3 more losses. We'll be 12 games played with only 3 wins.

@@CHS_BLue We've had great forwards in the past, and it didn't make much difference, Wiki and Price, to name two. Will they make changes to the way they play? Who'll be halfback? History shows that we're generally mid-to-low on the ladder.

Jesus... Might as well get them to have a rugby training in the showers to get used to the rain Webster. The same old warriors who can't get used to the rain. They gotta adapt, man. The knights were playing in the rain as well, and their defence was rock solid tonight. The resilience from them, made it too hard for the warriors to get a score. We were lucky in the 13th minute they didn't score but instead went for the two. Score could have been much worse for us. Onto the next.

Well the NRL has just confirmed a new tactic in kick defense. Just tackle the player in the air. No penalty try and no sinbin, just a penalty and a chance to reset the defence. Precedent is set now.

Yeah I saw an interview with RTS earlier this week and he said getting points was fine, they just had to fix the d. Not sure what he was talking about, our attack against the Titans was terrible. And now this. It's awful to watch. It looks like they're wading through mud.

I'll repeat what I said 3 weeks ago before Ponga was injured and all knight fans got upset. "Imagine they dropped Ponga and spent that wage on 3-4 massive talents". Knights have won their last 2 against strong opponents without him. Whoever is the captain replacing him is doing a much better job and the defence has been incredible. Ponga is too small to defend anything threatening and confuses the knights in attack. I just don't see how people can see potential in him, his not a team player at all.

warriors are done for this season if you cant beat dragons and knights to stay near the top you're not going to reguarly beat storm, bronco, panther, rooster they will battle for 7th and 8th with raiders/eels/cowboys/dogs but have no chance of winning it all

I think generally the 2023 season was a bit disappointing. Maybe the covid times affected Aussie NRL sides more than the Warriors. We got them at their weakest, they are starting to get their s---t together again, and the Warriors are being exposed now, - big time.
