@@Jp-do9ny He's a bit of a hog which I think frustrates the fans,. Though he breaks up defences and makes good metres, he often runs too far without looking for support, by which time the cover has arrived.. He goes a whole lot better when he mixes some passing into his game. And a couple of those lofted passes last night were terrific.

Roosters first try off the scrum. Mitchell not even sighted in cover defence, though it was obvious the Roosters were going to attack Souths left side. Muffintop didn't break out of a gentle jog in centrefield. Must be modelling his game on Puig Aubert.

You needed the widest of wide angle lenses to find him every time the Roosters scored another try. Just doesn't seem to every go hunting the ball, either in attack or defence.

He was never thought to be the problem anyway. Illias just never really owned the position and so Hawkins rightly got his opportunity. Coach was just experimenting. But whether it were Hawkins or Ilias playing tonight the result would've benlen the same.

Ilias is a mediocre, barely a first grader, but then so is Hawkins. Souths need to buy another halfback. For 2024 I would go with: 1. Jye Gray (He looks sharp. Mitchell too lazy to play fullback) 2. Izaac Thompson or Tyrone Munro 3. Muffintop Mitchell 4. Isiaha Tass (replace with Campbell Graham when he returns from injury) 5. Alex Johnston 6. Jack Wighton 7. Cody Walker Don't extend contracts for Ilias, Hawkins, Milne, Gagai or troublemakers Mitchell and Walker (he's too old anyway).

Latrell made them look like kids 😅 honestly looked dangerous the whole game just didn’t have anyone to play with! Normally his very lazy but this was the most I’ve seen him do in a long time and same as last week. Stop the hate the little Tedesco thing was nothing what about the islander who done the head high on Mitchell with his shoulder and got away with it? Latrell got 8 weeks suspension for that exact same hit

Latrell needs to quit playing fullback. He is useless at fullback. Instead he should be playing centre where he will be lethal in attack. He is a great centre. Over rated at fullback.

cody walker- if he is not making intercept passing he is unable to tackle and that makes him and angry man. Get rid of him

Another point - Roosters use to have litrell and he was a centre, they allowed him to leave because he wanted to be the man at fullback which he was never going to get from Teddy - now that he is Souths starting full back his work rate there is NOT of a top caliber fullback. He does half as many carries as Tedesco and just does less work - if he wants less ball and isnt willing to do work he should just be a centre as they get the ball less than fullbacks anyway and do less kick returns and hit ups etc. I'm guessing he just wants to be the man at Souths and be their number 1 / fullback but he isn't doing the role justice for example I've noticed constantly Litrell does about 10 runs (ball in hand) with about 100 odd metres per game, Teddy usually has over 20 RUNS per game and a lot more meters! Not to mention Litrells nonchalant defense (or so it seems) sometimes.
