I grew up with a dad who raced desert off-road class 1 buggies out in california. after years of not watching racing, i found rock bouncing and was blown away. since then i've also got back to watching desert racing, and i must say that rock bouncers are now my favorite. incredible machines and drivers.

@user-pu9rd7wl9c as far as I know Ford Play & Fordzilla are not the same bouncer they are 2 different bouncers drivers & owners Nick Reich owner driver of Fordzilla, Ford Play Jay Stortz Driver owner.

@@HIGHOCTANEFILMS That almost answers it. I guess it would be from event to event and there is no over-arching or rule-making body? And I want to be up front with why I am asking. My curiosity has to do with ICE sports of all kinds where an electric motor would offer unambiguous advantages, and how important are the aesthetics of loud engines and exhaust fumes overall to the people who participate. Is it about the task or mission, or is it about the scene, to include ICE aesthetic only, even if it means objectively less efficient/powerful machines.
