NSCN/GPRN cleared the confusion with the regard to the ongoing internal crisis within the government that impeached President Khango erstwhile he was the President of erstwhile NSCN (K) after the demise of late SS Khaplang, he was then also impeached from the party and government lead by Pangmi Comrades because of his greed and money mongering character. Still as he also sacrificed for the Nagas, Ato Kilonser Col. (Retd) Isak Sumi with a hope that he has learned a lesson rescued him from the wilderness and made him the president but he continues the same behavior. During the conference NSCN/GPRN (K) said - As the bird of same feather flocks together a comical character, a money monger Khango and Shellen, Power monger Hokato Vusshe and opportunist Phuyeka openly marketing the Naga issue for their personal gain and agenda cannot be tolerated by any Naga patriot and Naga public who have been bearing the burden of Naga national movement. Therefore, NSCN/GPRN (K) because of the unanimous call of the Nagas to reconcile at this crucial juncture have patiently waited but with no positive reply from our impeached president and his outlawed gang, were they decided to move ahead and in accordance to NSCN/GPRN constitution Luyanba Yimkhiung the Vice President has assumed the charge as President, Honourable Ato Kilonser Col. (Retd) Isak Sumi and Pangging Konyak, Dy chief Army Holding Supervisory Charge of the Army
