Four Northeastern states of India share boundaries with our neighboring country Myanmar and have ethnic, linguistic, cultural connection, Arunachal Pradesh - 520 KM, Mizoram- 510 KM, Manipur- 398 KM, Nagaland 215 KM. General Retired, President, NSCN/GPRN (K) Niki Sumi, stated on the burning topic Free Movement Regime and said there is no chance that Nagas will let the Indian government divide among the brothers on both sides. Also, while interacting with Media Niki Sumi said the proposed FMR will not be a success because Nagas are not only in India but also in Myanmar and questioned its possibility to put up a boundary between two brothers

Niki is right... this new gen of youth don't know our history culture and tour Naga brothers a sister on the other side... We have been here for thousands of years. I pray to God that let no power or dirty politics separate us... Remember Nagas, This move by India may be a part of larger objective.. We must oppose that and let them know that we are 1 Naga and not different. Slowly India govt is trying to decide and rule step by step, I MEAN look at our present Nagaland, they have divided us into small state which was once a large State or Nation.. and step by step we will slowly become lost people with no identity ❤❤

I am totally against the FMR because it will divide among Naga brothers from Indian side and Myanmar side. Let's all together opposed to FMR. Two countries demarcation of border is in the middle of Longwa village in Mon Dist, so its difficult to fencing between two countries.

India and nepal, India and Bhutan, there is a border but there is no need for visa.. many of the people living near the border have relatives on both side of country, they use 2 id and have property on both sides .. In my opinion, making a border will not separate us from the nagas living in Myanmar..

There is always a possibility if the naga people living in border areas accepts for relocation of their place in the Indian soil . For decreasing the menace of transporting illegal goods, drug trafficking and most importantly the insurgents. So fencing the border will be a better option .

Manipur nagas are silent. They should join hands together with the kukis . This is the right time to fight for their rights unless they want to stay with the meiteis. I find them selfish and foolish at present status. By now they should understand biren amit and modis game.
