The Road to Pasadena continues! The football team may have down years, but never the Legion. What a great sounding band! And marching style is so precise. NSU and alums should be proud that this band will be on display in the 2023 Rose Bowl parade on Jan. 2

I live 30 miles from Pasadena and I'm looking fwd to seeing Norfolk perform at the band showcase as well as march down Colorado Blvd! I'll even come to a rehearsal..lol

There’s just something MAJESTIC about SWEET LOVE! It’s NSU ARRANGEMENT & The Silkettes and Spartan Guards choreography to the song! It’s like the perfect blend!

I literally just finished watching the shows from FAMU, Cookman, Southern and Prairie View A&M from this same week, and I SWEAR to you the Legion has got the best sounding band on the field hands DOWN!!!!!! So clean from start to finish!!!

I like this band a lot. I always have. It is unique in style of play and march. Keep working on your precision, tone, pitch, phrasing, and ensemble playing. Keep raising your level of play and standards, and I look forward to your next performance!

The most disciplined band in the whole nation. Greetings from PVAMU. Last year NSU was the most articulated band as a whole in the nation. I challenge ya'll to get back to that. I enjoy what you guys do out there in VA. Still sounding amazing though.

@@jarix9536 I understand what handles mean. I just know the whole SWAC can’t handle them. People have their favorites but if Norfolk wanted to play Swackish, they would. Band directors just don’t like that sound.

@@reggiep i truly believe The Legion can stick with a JSU or SU, especially when musicality is concerned, those bands rely heavily on their brass, NSU is a different beast, especially the 2009 Legion man, oh my gawd that was a golden year
