Throughout this whole documentary, you can really see that JC Chavez’s dad especially had a lot of belief in JC’s potential and NSYNC as a group. He didn’t want his kid to miss this kind of opportunity and he believed in the band. He’s a lucky guy to have a dad like that.

Chris’s backstory is very different from the others. This documentary left out a lot of things about it. He had such a rough childhood, but he pulled himself out of it and that makes his success so much more sweet. He’ll always be my favorite. 😊

It's crazy because there are like 5 different orgin stories no one really knows the truth its always different people taking credit for creating them very strange no one really knows except the band members none of the stories make sence to the others
@misselaneous2774

@@delanoarts3703 That's not true at all. They consistently all tell the same origin story about how they got together - we all know it - Chris formed the group at the request of Lou. The only person who ever messed up the story of what happened was Lance in his book and he admitted on his podcast that he wrote the wrong thing because he didn't remember.

They've talked about it and they both kinda agreed they both wanted to be more in the background, they didn't feel as natural at being " stars " it affected them whereas the others dealt with it better. I agree they should have been more balanced, but they didn't want fame at the level justin had it

People should stop comparing BSB and NSYNc, sure they were both bands from the 90's, but if you listen carefully their sound is different. Both bands were awesome , and they brought different things. NSYNC brought great choreos in every video and BSB vocals.

schools are really stupid for publicly shaming children who cannot afford lunch by having them announce that fact in front of their peers to the point children avoid the cafeteria at lunch time, scarring them mentally when there's a million other ways that don't require public humiliation to get them there basic human right to eat food like all the other kids. Absolutely Pitiful

I saw them in Atlanta when I was 8 months pregnant.I can remember that it was so loud and hot that I thought I would literally go into premature labor..Our son was literally bouncing inside of me, and I was picturing him flopping around in my stomach like one of the guys in the Bye,Bye,Bye video puppet strings included naturally.The weird part was that after he was born he would stopped crying or fussing if one of their videos came on which at that time was every other commercial..We tease him about that today and at 17 he just doesn't find that too funny but one day he might after all anything is possible..Lol!!

I remember watching this in the summer of 2002 when I was 13. Vh1 ran it a lot. This was right after N'sync parted ways and a couple months before Justin T released his first solo album. Oh I do remember when they were huge and Bye Bye Bye was everywhere when I was in 5th grade. lol. I also remember watching the new Mickey Mouse Club when I was very young, at my grandma's house because my grandparents subscribed to the Disney Channel for me and my older sis. I didn't realize until years later that Britney, Christina, and Ryan Gosling were part of the cast along with Justin and JC.

As far as performances go nsync was well ahead of the curb and if Justins ego wasnt bigger than his solo career ever stood a chance of being then nsync could easily still be around and going strong (honestly timberlakes solo career hasnt been very successful I mean considering beiber had more #1 hits in a year than Timberlake has had in his entire career and he had to talk about his a Brittney sex life on the radio and strip janet in the middle of the superbowl in order to get his first two albums to do crap..he could habe stayed with nsync and probabaly been way more successful than he has been...but as I said he has always had a HUGE ego and attitude problem even when he was with nsync)

@manlike anal You see there these people are mad weird. Any person who thought NSYNC was BSB "clones" are mad dumb. Justin, Chris, Lance, JC, and Joey are nothing like BSB. They have totally different swag from them.

2:37 - Chris singing, in his high school choir, "We Built This City" by Starship (1985) - which many magazines rank as being the #1 worst song ever! Ironically, Chris would in 2004 sing this particular song, with Starship (of course), as part of the Hard Rock Hotel's Velvet Sessions.

I think the main problem is that Justin was made to go solo, and that's what pretty much broke them up. I heard nowadays Justin doesn't like to talk about his NSYNC days, but he does give it credit for starting his career.

um yeah he better give it credit. were you around in the 90s? nsync was the most popular, maybe 2nd most popular, band among people under age 21 for a few years. absolutely huge.
