Cracking up over Rachel’s justification to buy the NSYNC album when it came out because they thanked God. I remember trying to convince my mother to buy me the new U2 cassette tape because they had it for sale in the Christian bookstore, and I tried to use the same logic. She wasn’t buying it. 😂

I have watched both the office and friends to the end and I will tell you that office is better every single time. And you know it's true, because if you watch friends without the laugh track it's not funny anymore, but if you watch office which doesn't have a laugh track, the moments are actually funny.

The cheap thing I do is any time I have a coupon and for some reason it doesn't work, I will hold up the line while they get a manager to price override. Even if it's a dollar in savings 😂 drives my husband crazy, but dang, I clipped the coupon for a reason and I'm getting my money off! 😅😮

Home ownership definitely feels more like a pipe dream. A few years ago, it looked like I was *almost* ready to look seriously at buying. Now, it looks totally unachievable. So long as cost of living continues to outpace salary, I can't get ahead. Oh sure, I can (and do) save money, but short of getting a magical 100% raise, I can't possibly save *enough* to make the difference. It's incredibly frustrating.

Haha Rachel I remember reading their biographies too and saw they all thanked God and made my heart happy, knowing they were believers or hoped so hehe😊 ~~~>ALSO COOL STORY! My awesome youth pastor from Maryland was it? But he went to high school with JC and was his friend, and we were at our youth place here in Iowa, called Franks house of Rock where Christian bands came and anyway, one evening my friends and I were telling him about that we love *NSYNC and guess what he did?!!! Called JC!! He literally answered (they were on tour in the tour bus) and I and my friends got to say hi!! Was so awesome! And a friend and I got to go to their concert 🎶!!! My wall was full of *NSYNC posters haha.

Yes the rates of return and withdrawal the Ramsey people must repeat are insane. Dave also uses opposite reasoning to advocate one or the other. If you want people to save so much and never use debt, etc, that's just financial tough love. If you point out 8%+ withdrawals and picking out the market beating funds and still beating the index when you include the high fees is insane, you're a thief of joy.

Ok "Guilty as Charged. I was 22, working graveyard in a restaurant while trying to get an education. I would come home from work around 7am. I would take my neighbors delivered newspaper off their porch. I would read it carefully, then neatly fold it back up make it look like nobody had touched it. Then put it back on their porch.

25:56 I’ll give when I have more money… I’ll stop borrowing money when I have more money… I’ll invest when I have more money… the argument is always having more/making more money but if you make $20,000 a year and don’t give or overspend, then these habits will continue even if you make $20 billion per year.
