This ship looks like someone took a consular-class cruiser, smooshed its nose all the way in, and shrunk it down. Cheers!

Wow, I’ve actually never heard of this one before! It’s a happy day when I find something new in Star Wars. Looks a lot like a Clone Wars version M-Wing. If you told me the Rebels made M-Wings by doing to these what they did to Clone Wars era Y-Wings I would’ve believed it.

Totally! One of the biggest goals of this channel is to bring to light ships that deserve more attention, but especially Legends ships that we grew up with.

@@hyperspacedatabase that’s what I love about your, and various other KZfaq channels, as sadly despite 11 movies, and a number of series, both live action and animated, we sadly don’t get to see many ship types in action, ironically enough I think Rebels showed more variety in ships than most virtually any other content.

It didn't look like this. It was first mentioned in the AotC cross sections as a bigger brother of an ARC-170. The Fall of the Republic mod does it better.

I was very happy with this and many other suggestions I've made in previous years. this craft is still my most favorite Clone Wars era starfighter due to it's similar design to my most favorite ship in all of Star Wars, the BLT-A4 Y-Wing, and the fact that it was an effective bomber & quite an impressive amount of maneuverability. it's a shame this wasn't used as much and never got a chance to be seen on screen since it's such an impressive design. hopefully one day we'll see some fan made custom Hasbro toys & Lego MOCs built since I'd love to own this ship in my collection. also, love the white & blue design of this craft. ^-^

there is a sister ship to the arc 170 that is called ntb 630 as well and in the mod Star Wars Empire at War Fall of the Republic it looked like the arc 170 but just more bulkier underneath

I believe that one you are referring to was actually the PTB-630, it was a Planetary bomber and very strongly reaembled the ARC-170. (It also looked very much like a seaplane.) The PTB-630 was actually unable to leave the planet's atmosphere where it was stationed.

@@earlware4322 Yes but the NTB is meant to look a lot liek the PTB and ARC, and not like a gian Y-Wing.

@@DIEGhostfish I can see the Y-Wing reference, but to me the NTB always looked more like the Consular Cruiser.

It's a shame that the modders went with something so very different from thr "Jumbo ARC 170" that the NTB was always described as. It wasn't till Fall of the Repubkic anyone made a 3d model that actually looked like the description.

I've seen quite a few models of ships that we don't get much info on, I'm just glad that some really talented people went to the time to make something we can look at, even if it is not completely accurate!

Most of the footage in this episode is from a mod for the game Empire at War: Forces of Corruption. I get a lot of my footage from mods, especially when the ship is from legends!

Some of the footage also comes from a game called "Star Wars: Space Battle" on Roblox. The game looks a fair bit better than it did two years ago when this video was recorded.

@@lonestar1132 NTB only has fan art and models, but none of them looked anything like the ARC and PTB that it's supposed to be related to till thr Fall of the Republic modm
