Huge respect the NU Aqua 7 stage ro system is very well priced $289 without UV disinfection. Some companies want up to $1,000. I spent months researching what to do for a shallow well that was bacteria contaminated and supplied rust colored water with rust flakes. I ultimately used an I spring RO at the kitchen sink. Directly from the well I used a three stage 20 inch Big Blue filter bank --50--10--1micron pleated filters. This bank is followed by a 12 gpm Mighty Pure UV (not cheap but very high quality and durable) with a UV output monitor. Next is a Doulton Rio 2,000 ceramic filter for bacteria with a .5 micron pre filter. The UV feeds the shower direct and the kitchen faucet and bathroom faucet are fed by the ceramic filter. So far the water is crystal clear and has tested zero for bacteria at the kitchen sink. The BB filters are going on a year. Nice that you are looking out for your customers. IMO this puts among the best. Many water purity companies massively over charge as I have no doubt that you know.

Any thoughts about the recommendation to sanitize the bladder tank yearly?

No need. It gets plenty of flushing with natural operation.

What happened if it keep on working without switching off even when the tank is full

It will continue to make water even though you think they take is full. They operate on water pressure so when you use a little bit of water out of a tank that allows for water pressure to push water through the filter housings and then back into the tank.

I got this system a few months ago and finally got to putting it in with a new sink and faucet. I found a few things I was not happy with. The screws on the drain buckle were the wrong size, so I used my old ones, the instructions are from another planet (China?). Just a bunch of pictures with a caption under neath. I have had these systems in my home for the past 30 years, and my old system directions are actually readable. The little tablet thingy seems to be just an unnecessary gimmick a lawyer came up with to keep the company from being sued? If my sink ever gets that filled with water to shut off the water filter I have worse problems. I have never had a system leak that bad in 30 years. There were no screws for this contraption. I also got a 2nd set of filters that came before the system came, that I did NOT order. The directions do not tell you how to install the RO filter nor does it suggest a little lubricant on the o rings? They WILL be hard to remove in 6 months, even with the fancy plastic ring tools. I made the mistake of going for the 7 filter mess. There is little info on the UV light and the pump I will have to bypass as there is no plug in for it. The disposal is on a switch so the power has to come from the dishwasher. Another project? I paid $315 for this system and I am not a happy customer.

Seems like an awful lot of lines going all over the place. Have you considered the Nu Aqua tankless with additional UV?

Why did you not empty dishwasher into garbage disposal to help keep it clean? We always run the disposal BEFORE running the dishwasher if that would have been a concern of sink flooding and overflowing. Never ever seen/heard that happening.

You can do either. Single bowl sinks will have them run together.

I just attempted to install my system. My second and third filter are leaking. Any advice? It's brand new out of the box.

Turn off the water pressure from the system, close the valve on the bladder tank, remove the leaking filter canisters, inspect the o-rings and reinstall. It's likely just an o-ring that's not seated correctly.

I took it apart completely, took the O rings out they look brand new. Put it back together, and it's still leaking horribly.

@@h3adhuntersgaming546 it could be any number of things. Possibly even a push fit connection in the upper half that's not pushed together all the way and then leaking down across the filter assembly.

They sent me the wrong housing sizes. I got the new ones in today just waiting for water to come through the system now.
