I am a 60 yr old American and was just letting KZfaq do its "next" thing and heard this from the kitchen and had to come back restart and turn it up .. I was like OMG this IS the best metal I have heard in many many years from any band male or female period. This could have easily been a #1 on the HeadBangers Ball in its day. Truly a shame we don't get this in the US on any stations I can find. This, new to me, EuroMetal, especially bands with female vocalists, is my new thing and these beautiful ladies are leading the way. Hints of Judas Priest, Testament, Metallica, attacking drum work like you could hear from Slayer with touches of Iron Maiden, just amazing work. Bought this the day I heard and still my go these months later.

I just met this band and I love it!!! Incredible musicians and that singer has an incredible voice with a lot of strength and excellent performance! I love them! Much talent to offer ! and 0% nudity. I feel proud as a woman

Hexenhammer is the German name for the Malleus Maaleficarum, the main book used in hte middle ages for "information" on how to torture in the persecution of witches. I think the monk in the video is meant to be the writer of the book, Henricus Institoris.

Well I’d say Floor Jansen, Noora Louhimo and Seraina Telli are the best all round female metal singers of all time, they each have something different to offer. Seraina and Noora have better distortion and a wider variety of screaming techniques than Floor (Floor is great at it but Seraina is a master) and Seraina has more vocal range than either one of them. Though I don’t know Seraina’s exact range I am pretty sure it is above 3 octaves as I have seen her hit some very low notes such as G2. Floor on the other hand has insane belting power and can produce a wide variety of vocal textures and effortlessly transition between them. Noora's secret recipe is combining heavy distortion with big vibrato which gives her an intense feeling. It is a pity that Seraina , being so young , could have surpassed everybody had she remained within metal.
