New Album as an OG IF fan since the late 2000s. I feel they finally made an Album that pleases both their OG fans and new ones. It's like Soundtrack to Your Escape and Sounds of a Playground Fading combined into their best parts they had.

Og in flames is actually colony, clayman, the jester race , and the Lunar strain. 2000s was more of a second phase for the band. Reroute to remain and soundtrack to your escape still remain two of my favorites though 🤘

6 tracks into this album, we hear this bouncy chunky epic opening riff before Anders starts delivering the hooks, and it's so damn good to be back in melodeath heaven. In Fucking Flames is here!

The way they are using clean vocals in chorus still sucks though and ruin many songs. Especially Meet your maker was a huge let down on that matter, since everything else was awesome. Kinda done with it at this point.

I'm so happy with this album. Been listening to them since soundtrack to your escape and haven't really enjoyed a full LP from them since A sense of purpose. I think this is more of what they had in mind for soundtrack to your escape but weren't experienced enough with the electronic side of things yet to execute it properly. The album sometimes mirrors Clayman or Colony and then jumps into that mid 2,000's style for the chorus but much more polished.

But that old jesterhead logo was perfect and they’re finally moving back to that older stylised sound. And yeah it will always be to the band to do what they want to do. But as an OG fan from when I was 13, I’d love to see them go full circle and bring back the proper jesterhead. Not this weird geometric shape logo that every other band has at the moment. That’s all dude.
