i tried your techniques on a camera car footage, it s very smooth but the grade node is color correcting the shot,h has that trick where you grade to balance the white, a precise reason in the chromakeing logic? i mean if my costumer give me a footage, i have to return that footage....

can u please explain whats the logic behind puting value in gain as well in multiply ? i guess both work same n optional to each other same as well in offset and lift until ua not working on rgb value ... am i right

When you are grading the BG to match the FG, and you view the r,g,b separately to adjust the gamma of each channel, what are you looking at to match? is it an overall value match? or are you matching the mid tones between the plate and element?

When keying flat profile and log footage, what's the best way to key them? should I apply a LUT before the keyer or Should I do the keying on the flat footage? Thanks in Advance

Nice video. But there are a few practices shwon that are not the best to do. Ideally you should creating a alpha channel of your keys and copying them as one over to your plate and pre multing. That way you can tweak areas of the matte clearly without it being hidden inside a nodes sliders. This way you have a clear define alpha matte pipe, a despill plate pipe and the BG you merge it over. When you are adjusting the softness slider for the key in Keylight. Be aware you are softening for the defocus edges but the FG character is sharp in focus. That softness will effect the whole matte, where as its only really need for the defocused edges. Good video and showing understanding of the process however.

from my knowledge, it's to avoid artifacts that occur during the sharpening process going for a log color space and sharpening then changing the color space to normal to avoid having black contrasted areas because he lost some details on the denoising
