The new hardware and software updates to this thing is cool in the pro plus and the pro plus go. Old turtablist here, I just bought this to get back into the game. It fits my needs in so many ways. Skill is what matters for now.

Since 86 and I love my Mixstream! That -100 pitch is crazy!! Had it as backup at a festival last weekend, we had to switch up equipment mid sets. Plugged in one XLR, crossed over and 2nd speaker in. This units a bad boy. If I must groan, its text size. But, hopefully the next decent engine dj update will have that sorted. Great review!

Extremely, extremely helpful review! This thing is the truth! For all that it does at it's price point,it's more than worth the money. I just bought a set of vinyl tables and a mixer several days ago so I can get back into deejaying as a hobby and I'm already looking at adding digital equipment real soon. This little gem and a laptop(that I need anyway)...for the MWM Phase turntable system are gonna be my first digital equipment purchases really, really soon. Thanks for the info my man👍👍✌️

Excellent review! Exactly what I was looking for in terms of a true unbaised, indepth and knowledgeable overview of the Mixstream Pro's full capabilities. Admittedly it will probably take me some time to learn all the features, but I will didefinitely refer back to your video. I purchased the Mixstream Pro online last week (will arrive tomorrow) after doing some research and found that it was excellent for what I needed it for. I run a online radio station from home and wanted to have the ablility to do some live dj sets; or mix live with great sound quality without spending thousands of dollars on a higher grade unit. I'm going to run it through my RODECaster Pro and it should work fine as my go to source, as oppose to how I was doing it before which was using a music software with very limited capabilities. So many great features packed into this unit for the price, plus I can use it to do small venues when needed. A win win all around. 😃

You can pull off great mixes on this and the OS is great. The only thing I don't like about the unit is the left pitch slider being too close to the levels. If you aren't synced you can knock it out.

Awesome machine! I took a dive and ordered one for myself, unfortunately it's not $599 anymore it's $699 all of a sudden. The only thing that really bothers me about this machine is that you cannot hook it up to a larger display or monitor. Hopefully Newmark will give us a firmware update that will allow us to do this because those of us with bad eyes are not going to be able to see a 7 inch screen as well as a larger screen

Very nice review, thanks a lot. My only gripe is the pitch length, it matters a lot. For example, I end up reducing my pitch range +4 / -4 when the pitch size is this small for precision. Everyone prefers the standard +8 / -8 size. Please stop making them small. Other than that it is a very nice console.

I have this unit. Great unit except for the search. I work off SD card only I have around 10,000 songs on it. You can not search the SD card itself, you can only search the files you have moved in one by one into the library. Which makes having all those songs pretty much useless as you cant look at too many songs between songs...

Is it possible to turn off the Crossfader?

Could this be used in a club environment?

It arrived slightly damaged, and after the demo was working, I didn't make a big deal out of it because of the price, but I just took a $600 LOST.

Synch engine on your computer with Dropbox and then synch the unit with Dropbox to download files to usb sticks😂 what are you talking about. Might as well just synch usb sticks straight from engine and plug them in the unit.

Now the Numark mixstream pro is selling for $499. Something is obviously very wrong with the product.

Don’t call it a printer cable!!! They are two different power outage!! People get fooled. You can’t plug the same usb plug from a printer! It’s not going to always work. I’ve tried! Sorry people must know. Kind of Misleading

So it’s “Not” laptop free…? Do I have to have a an “account”..? A real artist needs something they can get started on right away . If the “Internet” is “Optional”, that is a very good thing. But if it is forced on you, then it is not a real musical instrument . The creators/ your masters had only one thing in mind (💵💵💵). Yes or no…. Do you need the Internet to make any “organized noise” (music) with this controller…? ( yes or no)

I had Numark before. Never again...poor built quality, bad responsive buttons, horrble jog wheel, and unprofessional.
