The Numark Mixtrack Pro II is the newly updated two-deck/two-channel entry-level digital DJ controller produced by Numark DJ Division that comes bundled with Serato DJ Intro. The original Numark Mixtrack Pro is one of the best-selling DJ controllers of all time and for very good reason. The overall layout of the Numark Mixtrack Pro II is fairly similar to the original Mixtrack Pro, but this time the Mixtrack Pro II has a much sleeker appearance, thinner jog wheels, and the very popular 16-pad setup to control the main DJ functions. The Pioneer DDJ SB is basically the pioneer version of the Numark Mixtrack Pro II. The pioneer has better jog wheels and bigger which gives it a CDJ feel. The Numark is good for scratching and it's more lighter and more easy to carry around while the Pioneer is more heavy and thick. But the pioneer has more options such as auto filter and signature samples.

Ok. 1 More Question? I s there any difference between the Silver Mixtrack Pro II and the Black VERSION (The black looks cooler but that neither here nor there).

UCANTCEEME Gamer Yes! the silver version doesn't have a soundcard in it and is called a Mixtrack II. The PRO version is black and has a soundcard so you can connect speakers and headphones... You can't connect those in the silver version.

What do you need to play the music through the speakers? Is it sufficient to run a AUX cable from Laptop? Or RCA from deck to speakers directly? Also can someone explain what a RCA cable is exaclty lol new to this

I'm thinking of buying the Numark Ns6. I began looking at the Mixtrack II first. Is there any benefit to having the PADS for sampling (i guess.) or does the Ns6 still have this function in the buttons. What are the pros and cons?

Hey! I got into DJing about 4 months ago. I started off with the Numark iDJ Live with my iPad. I feel I've mastered the basic controller and I'm looking to step it up a level from the iPad. For a few more months I'm looking to just practice in my room but eventually DJ at parties, pubs and clubs. Do you recommend I buy the Numark Mixtrack Pro or the Numark Mixtrack Pro II?

Know the way to get effects working on Traktor pro 2? The touch pads light up, when turning the knob the gain on the effects on traktor go up and down but there is no effect to the song?

Hi there, i'm wanting to start out myself and the general impression i'm getting everywhere is that this, or the original mixtrack pro, is a good controller to start off with for us beginners. Very tempted to buy at the moment as i've been researching for months now and feel its time to go ahead and buy it. I am just wondering should i go straight for the pro 2 or for the original? The other thing i'm worried about is the serato dj intro it comes with...seems to be mixed feelings on the software

How do you set the cue points using the controller and not the software? I have a Pioneer DDJ-SB and can easily set my hot cues, but don't know how to do it on the Numark. Please help! Thank you!

Yo whats good man, got a couple of questions.. i was looking into this controller, and i was just wondering do you have to have a RCA cable for the sound to transfer, and if so. I have M Audio 40 Speakers, and there is two RCA plug ins, will that need dual RCA plug ins or what? also what cables/plug ins would you need for stage monitors? thanks man!

thinking of getting a stater controller currently have the stanton scs 3.d I got from a friend. Since the stanton is all touch I assume something like this will feel better and give easy qucker access. DualshockBolt You can have more than two speakers if you wish. The output has Left and Right RCA which will give you stereo but you can even have more speakers depending on your setup.

Bruh thanks for the great vids. Question. I want the Ns6 but I'm really only a beginner in the DJ world. I usta have a recording studio and I did quite a bit of sound engineering. I've done a few small type gigs using DJ software with No controller. In your opinion, would I be best starting out with the Numark Mixtrack Pro II and get more experience before I jump to the Ns6. I'm thinking, should I invest that much yet while still learning. Will I have enough functionality with the Pro II? BTW I watched all your review vids on the Numarks already. Nice work. I need your honest professional opinion. Help me out my brother?

UCANTCEEME Gamer You should probably start off cheap and then go up, but if you got the funds, why not get the best you can? the NS6 won't necessarily be harder to learn with because it costs more or has more features. Get the best you can afford...

Yeah but the scratchs appear be better on Numark mixtrack pro 2 than DDJ Ergo-V, it is by the mini fader or Ergo-V plays digital sounds scratchs always?

If so how good is Serato intro compared to programs such as virtual dj or traktor.... I am new to this really and need to buy a decent controller cheaply, cheers shaunyybeats !
