Here in Australia almost $900 for the s3, and no post fader efx? No cues? Loop? Sampler? I use my akai amx with my v7s and EVERYTHING is post fader, and every button or knob is mappable... Have a Djm 250 mk2 that I use with my cdjs and rekordbox dj, the efx are on a send return type system..... terrible, this mixer is $550 every time you use efx you need to tap the beat counter before using the efx, not good if you don't have a midi controller for this... Otherwise it's way out of sync. Scratch is huge value for money.

@@jeroneallison8978 what kind of dj are you? if (scratch) you need that cross fader curve, not the click switches. that 1000 mixer will last you for 7+ years. you get that s9 and you won't look back

@@fenzclan156 I've used numark since the mid 90's and they're not good mixers. the innnofader is a good fader depending on which one you get and the mixer doesn't even have knob fader curves. the mini innofaders are as good as people make them out to be and the s9 fader curves are better than any mixer that's out. if it weren't for Serato built in the mixer it would be a $100 mixer.

I hope that in a future software update the performance pads are capable of lighting up in different colours for cue points. When the NS7ii first came out the pads in cue point mode were just one colour as well, but then multicolours were enabled in a later software update.

OP you were on point, ordered mine after watching you and Mo Jaxx from DJ city. Been waiting for Numark to come out with something like this forever. As I am a DJ on a budget needed something to put between my NDX500's and or tt250's For a long time Numark would only offer a controller or another brand mixer😏

Ordered one the other day, looks unbeatable for the price. The fact it also comes with SDJ Pro and the DVS plugin makes it a crazy deal. Though the Turntable I ordered comes with SDJ Pro, too bad I can't trade it in with Numark for P'n'T and Serato Video, oh well.

I own this mixer pretty much since it' s release, works great so far! Only thing that annoys me is that the colour of the cue points on the pads doesn' t reflect those in Serato DJ Pro. The pads always stay red. I don' t think it would have been a lot more expensive to add multi color LEDs. But for under 500 bucks this mixer nails it!

2 bad only has 4 cues points. If u can hit shift button and make those 4 cues into 8 it would have been awesome.

You mean that doesnt work? Mhm. The mixars duo has this function. Would be quite stupid not to include that feature. I mean I get that they dont give us 8 cue buttons like on the rane 72, the djm s9 and the reloop elite as nobody would buy these mixers if the numark scratch had basically all the same features of which the cue buttons are basically the most important one for most people.

XRTA DOPE VIDEO MY GUY..explained really detailed. My question is about turntables im getting back to DJing and i like the reloop turntables. So what I need to know is what's the difference between the RELOOP RP-7000 MK2 PROFESSIONAL UPPER TORQUE TURNTABLE SYSTEM and the RELOOP DIRECT DRIVE DJ TURNTABLE AMS-RP 7000 MK2.

13:46 Can you point me to that kind of mixer? Is there anything of that kind available in this universe? I dont think so... The z2 and the mixars duo have a very similar feature set, but are also in the same price range. The new elite mixer is also quite a bit more dollaros... and the s9 and the 72 do have a way steeper price point. There is nothing really in between besides the reloop elite... which is more than double the numark scratch price point.

Great overview on this mixer. Seems like a great mixer for the price point. Any suggestions for equipment to add to a mixer like this in order to give me a way to hook up 2 wireless mics? I sometimes dj with hiphop groups and Im looking for maybe a small pa mixer to run off of in order to have multiple mic options. Thanks

Very nice ! Class compliant ! That combined with the new iPad OS will bring us real powerful mobile DVS. If Serato is clever they will port Serato DJ to the iPad.

For me is very importan, becuase i play a lot of ONLY VINYL sets: I cant use the effects in vinyl-mode or CDJ-line. right? it just works together with serato & a laptop in PC-mode, right? Or a the effetcs loaded on the mixer like in the early RANEs? Nobody talks about that.

If your computer does not have enough USB ports you will need a USB hub with 3.0 ports.

If Rane can copy Pioneer and add a screen for $200 more, why can't we (Team Numark) for a 3rd of the price? I love the DJ game. For the record, I have all the Mixtracks, Akai AMX/AFX, and the NS62. I WILL be adding the Scratch as my standalone scratch mixer. Innofader all the way.

Question! Would you be able to use the Numark "Scratch" Mixer with a Rane 12 Controller and still be able to use the effects from the mixer to the table ? Since the controller doesn't hook up to the mixer itself ?

Ok, real talk, the features and functions look awesome but I'd like to know how the SOUND QUALITY is. I once bought a Numark mixer and it had really bad sound quality. Not as crisp and clear as my pioneer or rane mixer, not even close. I returned the thing and got my money back. I could not play with that low sound quality... just wondering

Usually when a mixer has built in serato you should be able to record. My pioneer S3 could and my Mixars duo with built in serato can record.

Does serato get fully unlocked or is it only for use with scratch? If I buy this, can I take this serato version to a venue that has an s9 and be compatible? Just making sure it's not proprietary to numark scratch only mixer
