So, Alfie's my grandad and an absolute legend. I wrote to Wolves telling them about his 100th birthday and hoped they might get the players to sign a birthday card, or something along those lines. We never expected anything like this! John Richards, Willie Carr, Ted Farmer and all of the team at Wolves TV were absolutely incredible. Every single one of the current squad came over to shake Alfie's hand and wish him a happy birthday and even sang to him. Then Nuno presented a birthday cake! Honestly, they couldn't have been nicer. Alfie keeps telling everyone it was the best day of his life. This is why we love Wolves and always will. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Showed this vid to my 87 year old Mom as I thought it might interest her and it turned out that Alf played piano at her wedding in 1957! Lovely touch Wolves for a great bloke.

Hoping my dad will make it he's 95 now and had his season ticket since 1945 continuously, though his first game was 1939 when his dad took him to the FA Cup semi final, his last game was just after the road closures came in when we couldn't get close enough to drop him off He wont let me get rid of his ticket though in case he makes it one day bless lol, Wolves fans are a determined bunch :-). Born Wolverhampton and raised a Wolves fans, Great to see Willy, John and Ted around. They bring back great memories walking up Newhampton Rd to Molinuex Stadium 1974. I was just a little man them days. Seeing this winning team like that all supporting Alf, I'm so proud of the Lad's and the Lady Wolves also. You guys remind me of why I'm a Wolves Supporter, even during the dark times. If anyone can find a 4XL wolves shirt let me know, i've put on a few stone since i left.
