Our visit Nuremberg travel guide documentary covers some of the top attractions including a food guide (Nuremberg Bratwurst, beer and pretzels), top sightseeing tourist attractions and the city by day including visiting castles, churches and museums. We also cover off-the-beaten-path outdoor activities you won't find in a typical Nuremberg tourism brochure, Nuremberg itinerary or Nuremberg, Germany city tour.
10 Things to do in Nuremberg, Germany travel guide video transcript:
We started our day by taking the U-bahn to the centre of town and getting off at Lorenzkirche. This put us on the south bank of the Pegnitz River, where we took the opportunity to browse some markets before visiting St Lorenz Church.
This is a beautiful gothic church complete with pointed vaults, stained glass windows, and sculptures.
From there we walked across one of the city’s many bridges and continued on to the Beautiful Fountain (yes, that’s the name), searching for a bit of good luck.
One of Nuremberg’s most famed attractions is the Imperial Castle located in the northwest end of the Old Town. The castle is a testament to the power of the Holy Roman Empire during the middle ages.
And we couldn’t come all the way to Nuremberg and not try the famed Nuremberger sausage! We went to Bratwursthäusle, right in the heart of the Old Town by St Sebaldus Church.
Later that afternoon we went into Nuremberg’s deep underground on a tour of the historic beer cellars. Nuremberg has been a beer brewing city for centuries.
While in town, we also took a walk down Weißgerbergasse, which may just be one of the prettiest streets in Nuremberg. This curved cobbled street is lined with half-timbered houses.
Albrecht Dürer’s one time home is now a museum dedicated to his life and work. He was a German Renaissance artist across many mediums, but he is best known for revolutionizing printmaking and elevating it as an art form. At certain times of day, they offer a guided tour with an actress who plays the role of Agnes Dürer, the artist’s wife.
The bridge we were looking for is the Heilig-Geist-Spital, or the Holy Spirit Hospital. It’s not a bridge in the usual sense of the word, rather a medieval building that sits across part of the Pegnitz River.
On a more serious note, we couldn’t leave Nuremberg without also visiting the Dokuzentrum, also known as the The Documentation Center Nazi Party Rallying Grounds.
And that’s a wrap for a our guide to Nuremberg, Germany. If you have any other suggestions of cool things to do in Nuremberg, feel free to share those with fellow travellers in the comments below.
This is part of our Travel in Germany video series showcasing German food, German culture and German cuisine.

This was heart warming to watch. Nuremberg was my home away from home when I stationed in Vilseck/Grafenwoehr from 05-07, and I miss it and all my friends from there. Best part for me was the golden make a wish ring that y’all spun. It was one of the first things I was told to go do when I got off the train. Watching this makes me want to go back and visit with my mom. Absolutely Beautiful!!! Thank y’all.

I was lucky enough to be stationed at Johnson Barracks in Furth, just next door to Nuremburg 76-79. I still keep in touch with one of my special friends who lived there. Awesome ancient city. I do miss it. I did get to go to Grafenwoehr too, but didn't enjoy that as much.

you both exude a sense of calmness and peacefulness quite unlike any other KZfaq channel I follow. It makes your channel feel very authentic/unique. That, mixed with the chemistry between you two, and your very bubbly/cheerful-like personalities, always makes me look forward to watching your videos. And while the places you two visit are always a treat to the eyes, it's really you guys that make the video a whole lot nicer to watch. So, just really wanted to convey a heartfelt thank you for that (i.e., being you), haha. Continue to do the awesome work you guys! Definitely by far my favorite channel. Will continue rooting for y'all! Side note: You two are rep-ing Canada real well, haha. I guessed you two were Canadian the minute I stumbled on your videos. Such sweet folks - it was almost too obvious. Wish you two all the success!!

Brats and Beer on a Saturday morning and the Turks selling hashish at night in the same area. One could walk their feet off in that city. I never knew where I was going so I just walked everywhere. Schwabach was a hop skip and a jump away. There are but loads of museums and art galleries in Nuremberg. To really see that part of Germany or any part is to go on a volks march. I miss it grandly and havn't been back since 1983 before the wall fell. Great vid keep up the work.

I had seen a tour for $400 for the 4 of us, and i am rethinking that.. I really like your itinerary and the option to stroll and explore on our own and don see the need to pay that money.. I very strongly recommend Zakopane! Beautiful old-folk-village style place in the mountains. It's obviously the best in winter but honestly any season is gorgeous. It was my favorite place growing up in Poland :)

Zakopane or Wroclaw?? No way - Jessica must be kidding you. Zakopane is full of dummy Polish highlanders who see only money. Inhibition and adherence. Wroclaw is better but I think nothing to see... Visit Toruń, Gdańsk-Sopot-Gdynia, Kraków...then you see the beauty of Poland.

How much shock are your wallets in now you're in to Europe?! Btw if you do decide to head to Tallinn after all you should look for the DM Bar in the old town Particularly if you like depeche mode (I looooove) - it's a fan run themed bar. Quite random. Cocktail menu all named after DM tracks and all rum based....ströh.....strong stuff....consider this a warning, I had to give a presentation the next day.....🤢🤒 there was also a lovely cosy little restaurant nearby called grandma's kitchen or something like that: super nice staff, super yummy food. Omg even the bread and butter......

Thank you! Ah, we'd love to go back to Tallinn. My gosh our day-trip went by so quickly and we wished we could have stayed a few more nights. That sounds so random and cool! To be honest it hasn't been so bad. We're finding AirBNB places to be decent value and groceries in Germany are surprisingly cheap! I think public transportation and meals are a bit pricey though so we're trying to walk a lot and limit our meals in restaurants to once every two or three days.

Na én meg azt hittem hogy a fontosabb látnivalókat, pl a nürnbergi igazsaágügyi palotát is megmutatják. EN: This video is a couple of shit, because i thought that the chick and da guy show the most important seeing atractionz, like da justice palace, where the nuremberg trial has been held. When the judge has read the punishments of nazi officers, goering or göring and himler were killed themselves by a glastablet.
