The NextGen nclex is coming up soon🥺and I just fail the exam on my second attempt🥺🥺🤦‍♂️💔,I cannot begin to articulate the level of embarrassment and heartache I'm feeling right now 🤕😣,I'm confident that I will be a good nurse too. I just need to get past this too and move on. 🥺

Just say "I haven't passed yet." Don't take it as a failure but see it as a learning opportunity. There is a lot of power in "Yet"; you are telling yourself that you will get there and that your eyes and heart are still fixed on your goal.

I go into work with 3 drinks sometimes too. My husband thinks I'm too much but he clearly doesn't understand nightshift nurse life!!😂😂😂😂 And yes, definitely need that energy drink at 3am!!

Ahh I'm so excited for you to start nursing school in May!🤍 I typically just put a cinnamon creamer & cinnamon sprinkles in my coffee, robe is from Tjmaxx!

Great video :) what vitamins and supplements do you take? Have just started a multivitamin, but less sure about quality and what extra could be taken if most things covered by a multivitamin.

I probably overkill on the vitamins hahaha, but I take a multivitamin, hair skin & nails, collagen, & a probiotic.

This is beyond peaceful 😊 Personally speaking I prepare for my upcoming night shifts by watering myself aka getting crazy wasted and watching only the best videos. Probably not the best plan for most people, but it's a fit for me after working nights for 30 plus years. I also stay awake after my 6 nights in a row and pick a local winery to hit up. Rosé All DAY 😂

What time do you typically wake up to get the walk and gym in plus shower get ready for work?

I try to goto the gym directly after work since I already need to shower & it helps me sleep. I typically wake up at 4pm to walk Camper & get out of the house by 5:45ish!

Great question! To be quite honest my sleep schedule is extremely dysfunctional. Ideally I'd like to switch to a normal routine on my days off but I have a really hard time going to bed early now. Learning as I go!

YAY! I'm so excited for you! Truthfully, I feel like nothing can prepare you for it until you live it. I would just suggest getting all your ducks in a row (meal prepping, errands, laundry, etc) before your first shift of three because in-between you won't have much time for yourself!
