i can relate. i graduated in BS in Nursing. I passed the board exam in 1 take without any review. But then, up until now di ko parin pinapractice. Maybe because hindi ganun kalakas ang passion ko to be a Nurse. Ganun talaga siguro kapag choice ng parents ang course. But somehow, there is some space in my heart na kapag may nangangailangan ng health care ko, di ko maiwasang di tulungan. Now, ibang linya ng profession ang tinatahak ko. And I use my skills as a registered Nurse on my own way.

Naiyak ako..almost same story sa pamangkin ko na nurse ang pagkakaiba LNG rapper c Fatima.5yrs hindi ma regular pamangkin ko sa hospital na pinapasukan always delay sahod mababa na nga..sad reality sana mabigyan ng atensyon ng government natin ang tamang benefits ng mga nurses yung sahod na tugma sa pagod at hirap nila.

Too sad. Situation way back on 1990s has been this way when it comes to nursing practice. I can relate coz I’ve experience the same way back then. No salary, no PPE, but overload of duties and responsibilities. Healthcare management does not care about patient safety what more with nurses. Labor department should intervene with this as this process that hospital do to nurses is not right. Unfortunately, no leaders even know there is a huge problem with healthcare system in the Philippines.

saludo aq sayo mam fatima,sana nga po maipriority nila ang mga health workers na mabigyan ng malaking sahod at hindi delay,dahil hindi lang pasyente ang ating inaalagaan,meron din tayong sariling pamilya na umaasa,at sana d na nila paabutin pa ng 15-20 years casual,contractual,JO ang isng empleyado,at wag na dapat nila idaan sa palakasan o sikuhan sytem para lang maregular,,kahit pagod na lumalaban parin para sa mga kababayan nating pilipino,god bless po mam,,,

Sakit isipin mahal ng tuition sa Nursing but ang liit ng sahod kong magkatrabaho kana. 1day dito sa America is 1month salary Sa Pilipinas. Gusto ko man maglingkod sa bayan natin kong ang pamilya ko nman gutom. Watching from California USA 🇺🇸

@@junjuncanete1137 California base po sa company ko lang dependi kc kong anong company ka. RN $46 per hour after 8 hours time & half then if you work double shift x2 plus bonus if you work extra hours or extra day of your day off.. like as now during pandemic our bonus: sign-up $1,000 then 8hrs per day bonus $100, 12hrs per day $150, extra hours of your day off $150-200.🥰

A lot of Filipino nurses are compassionate with unmatched caring qualities like Fatima. Patients are always looked after no matter what the circumstance is? Kaya lang they’re all poorly compensated and doesn’t get the respect they deserved. That’s why we chose to leave for greener pasteur. But I commend those that stayed to serve our people. They’re the true heroes of our generation.

I feel so sorry for the nurses in our country.Until now the salary is so low.I studied nursing because my Dad want me to be one so I can work abroad.His wish were all carried and I served my patients with all my heart. I just pray to God that nurses be treated better🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭❤️❤️❤️

Wherever you work as a nurse,the calling is the most important.Patient care is the same but,the pay is really low in the Philippines and there are no available jobs.I gave a lot of free care specially we lived in a barrio where people got no means to pay your services.I hope and pray that the government will solve this problem.❤️🙏🙏🙏

2008 when nursing was booming, sakto at totoo talaga yan ikaw pa ang mismo mag bayad para maka Volunteer, patolan namin lahat maka pag work lang.. BPO o ESL , so thankful naka raos then and now nasa ibang bansa na ko… it was all worth it!

Hirap naman maging nurse sa pinas… Tapos baba pa ng sahod. Yung 1 month salary nila ilang oras lang kikitain dito. Kaya pala mga kakilala ko mga nag nursing sa pinas wala sa nursing field ngyon…Kakaguilty magcomplain tuloy dito sa US… Saludo ako sa inyo mga pinoy nurses!!!!
