There is a certain amount of things you expect to happen, but we are human, we work everyday during this pandemic, many days going without a break or a day off to take care of those who are sick. We all deserve support when speaking up about our struggle. I know some people straight up complain about everything without making an actual effort to change their situation. That's another story. But what's going on with the health care workers right now is no doubt a hardship they don't deserve to go through. Many died, many were forced to work without having a mask. Their family takes the risk with them. I'd listen to them "complaining" all day if they need to. The least I could do for these brave people. I think it's the time we have to support and have each other's back.

I'm a retired surgical nurse who put in 30 years of surgeries and I have seen some things others haven't, but the nurses do whatever they can to make a patient comfortable and promote their healing. Most of us have been in cases where the patient was contagious, but we just strapped on our masks and gowns and got busy trying to help heal them. We nurses never stop trying. We never walk away from a patient who is contagious. There are very, very strict protocols in the O.R.for being with a contagious patient and they are adhered to unfailingly. If you think your loved one isn't getting what they need, make a complaint to the hospital mucky mucks and keep doing that until you see what is needed and being taken care of. My daughter works at LENSCRAFTERS and they reopened (when they shouldn't have but it's the little people who get pulled back in, upper management is probably working from home) and they wear masks, one customer in the store at a time, they clean after every customer, the customers are NOT required to wear a mask so no protection for the workers.
