I poured the urine in the sink because there was no toilet around and I got the skills wrong. I now realize I was supposed to pour it into the bedside commod instead . I learnt what I was supposed to do right from watching the Nurse video. Thanks Nurse Jar and sorry for my first message

Hi, Eunice! WRONG! Do NOT credit me for your mistake. I explicitly stated to pour the contents into the "TOILET" or the "BEDSIDE COMMODE." Nowhere in my training video did I ever instruct you to pour the contents, nor the rinse, into the sink.

They need to revise handwashing. Letting the water run continuously while drying hands is such a waste of water

Hi Allyjenny! Thanks for your comment! You should share your thoughts with the CDC and your state's testing vendor. Although, I think both are more concerned with the prevention and spread of infection than the wasting of water.

Hi Nurse Jar, I am a nurse educator from Ontario Canada so our practices may differ slightly. We follow public health Ontario’s guidelines on handwashing. Here is a video we use for education purposes, washing hands for a min of 15 seconds and using the same paper towel to close the taps that we used for drying our hands kzfaq.info/get/bejne/pZ-YndCiytmbYn0.html

@allyjenny15 Hi! Yes, I see the differences in performance guidelines. We follow the CDC's guidelines for hand hygiene. Although, I did recognize that Ontario's Public Health guidelines leaves the water running, as well. Thanks for sharing the link!

After you dry your hand the 1st time, could you use that paper towel to turn off water.?Then continue to dry?
@allyjenny15Ай бұрын
