Cristina I love that you said you're attending mommy classes. I think so many new moms could benefit if they took mommy classes, infant CPR, and breastfeeding 101. Knowledge is power and it calms anxiety when you are prepared!! Great job mama 👏🏽💪🏽

I like how you thought about him and not yourself when making the room. most moms want that white neutral color to make it look esthetic, but your baby boys room actually looks like a kids room, so cute.

It is proven that bright colors can actually be overstimulating for babies, thats why many choose neutral colors as these are calming. Although there are many parents out there that do it for aesthetic purposes. However, I think cristina did a great job as the colors aren't too crazy but relatively calm. It is suggested that parents use pastel or neutral colors for their rooms but of course every baby is different and every parent should accommodate to their little ones :))

Agreed! My brother gf does overthink a lot which I understand bc its their first child however when my mom takes care of my nephew they act like my mom never had a child before 🤣 and in all honesty seeing this video i’ll watch it when i get pregnant it’s simple n not overwhelming of anything n not buy unnecessary things yk? I love it!!

Isn’t Aziz not allowed to be used as a name Islamically because it’s one of Allah’s 99 names? Sorry if I’m wrong, but from what I know his 99 names can’t be used ?

@@tugba9516 yes for muslims its officially always Abdul-Aziz/ AbdelAziz on paper in islamic religion. But then most people would still call him Aziz among family friends etc. And second for Arabs and non muslims just Aziz is used very often. Not for the islamic reason but for the meaning in Arab "darling, powerful". For them its just an arabic name. So that's fine. And Cristina and her are not muslim.

I really like how she didn't make the room like IG moms do where it's beautiful to look at but the child doesn't benefit from it in any way. She geared it towards her son, stimulating colours/shapes/animals and I think the themes are just perfect!

You have done a really nice job decorating! I love that you thought about safety and childproofing. I even noticed that you have baby-safe nails now. I agree that you should consider a rocker/glider. I spent many nights in the chair feeding my babies

In that corner by the books, you are definitely going to need a comfortable rocker/chair with a foot stool! (He won’t have toys to play with until later as he gets bigger then you can move the chair) Get a chair/rocker that will go with your living room furniture so as he gets older you can move the chair into the living room…..but you are going to need a place to rock him to sleep, a place to read to him, and just a place to sit/rock him and talk to him while you breastfeed or feed him a bottle.

Yes I think that was my biggest mistake not having a rocker but I also didn’t have room either and having a VERY difficult sleeper I was always rocking him or patting his butt and it killed my arms 😒

Love how prepared and well thought out your planning is ❤️ as a mommy of 3, a rocking chair will be needed especially when you are trying to get baby to sleep. The chair will be more beneficial until he can play with toys.

Seeing that room as a nursery is everything! The theme is so cute and I LOVE his name too! My son’s name is David and that also means beloved (in Hebrew). The book/ruler wall is my favorite part. It’s going to be so meaningful, as he grows and you start to measure him and take out his favorite book to read. 🥹📚🦖💚 I’m getting more and more excited for you guys! I think you did an awesome job with everything, the room looks great and it all flows nicely! His name is beautifully unique and it will suit him well. I chose unique names for my kiddos, I'm a fan of them. Some tips I want to share are to place plush carpeting near/around the crib, and areas where you will transfer him. There will be days/nights when you're exhausted and accidents can happen. Especially during the mobility stage you will want soft carpeting on your hard floor. My daughter used to climb out and fall and threw herself out of her crib several times during that stage. Everything else looks great and safe. You're doing a great job and I can already tell how much you love him. ♥ Blessings! 😇

I feel like you’re having so much fun choosing all of his stuff! Most people match the baby shower to the nursery and I feel like people stress a lot trying to make sure everything matches 100%. I love that your baby shower theme is safari but you wanted his room to be different. It’s all so cute and going to be so fun!!

Super cute nursery 😍I really like that it’s a theme and very blue! Everyone now a days just has esthetic colors but this is such a cute boy room 💙💙 and definitely!! Hatch is the best investment my son is 2 and he still uses it everyday 🙌🏼

I love the room and the baby’s name is very cute and different 😊! I don’t remember if you said you were going to breast feed but a rocking chair would really help a lot. Putting the baby to sleep, feeding, or pumping is really nice in a rocking chair and so relaxing. Plus you could set up a letting station next to it for whatever you need pacifiers, bibs, your pump and accessories , snacks whatever really. Congrats again can’t wait for the video on what you get at your baby shower 😊

I love it! Just be careful hanging the frames above his crib. They can fall and injury baby. I pulled my baby’s crib forward a bit more from the wall so if frames fall it won’t land in the crib. Just something I experienced & I tell everyone now. ❤
